Actually, Fallout New Vegas was made by Obsidian, and Bethesda only picked up the fallout title after fallout 1 and 2 were already made by Interplay and fallout 1 and 2 look nothing like fallout 3.

@TheSupersabby Oblivion came out in 2006 on the launch of the 360.Fallout 3 came out in 2008, and then Fallout:New Vegas in 2010.Skyrim was being made since Oblivion finished in 06 once they finished F3 everybody started work on Skyrim.Obsidian made New Vegas so Bethesda had all their resources focused on Skyrim.
