i heard (from her) in another youtube video that she changes accent because of the influence she has from the fact she lives in england. besides the fact she grew up there, she has influences now. but in the Leno interview she speaks like an american...

she's got a different kind of english accent, let's put it this way. sometimes she shows influences of american pronunciation on her speech. but certainly her time in england from around 2 to 11 years of age formatted her accent. that's why this kind of mix, i believe.
