its called dot in a box and it works well. your prob is you can't think outside the box. the trunk would work better if you set it up like it sits on a cer and see what kinda damage it does
@barstoolguru The point of this was not so much to see what it would do to the trunklid but instead just to see my shots easy and try to get use to my carry gun. Fact is it don't matter how the trunklid is positioned the 40 round will go through it as it were hot butter no matter the angle. As far as that goes anything from 32auto up should.
@dills2403 I don't like the standard white outlined sights my glock 27 has. I just can't get a good fix on them like I can a 3 dot sight setup. For concealed carry and fast draw in real world situation the white outline sights are designed to work good.
I must be the odd man out, I really like using the speed loaders, particularly for my XDM40, those mags load harder than my glock mags. I like using them enough that if I lost or broke one I'd have to replace it.
I have a G23 and don't get any imprints in my hand and the recoil is fine. I like it actually. It is more than a 9mm, but 9mm's feel like a woman's gun to me. Almost like shooting a 22. I prefer the 40 cal.
just bought the glock 27 and haven't been able to shoot it yet... good vid. I can not get the slide that fits over the magazine to work. I can load the mag no problem by hand but the guy at the gun store by me said that the slide would load the mag faster and be easier to load. any advice?
I only use that loader after shooting a bunch of rounds and my thumb hurts from loading so many rounds into a mag. Either that or if it is a new mag and the spring is really tight loading the last one or two...
I never use those "easy loader" devices. Once you figure out the best angle to load the shells it's not too hard. I always use my thumb to push down the back of the shell into the follower while using my index finger to push them back under the rim of the magazine. I find loading them more at a angle allows them to go in easier. Sorry took so lone to reply but I just saw this comment.
you should look into the Hogue grips. They really help out in gripping and wont leave that mark in your hand. They are reall comfortable and usually com for compact and full zize guns, however you can cut them down to fit the glock 27
Nice Vid! I love my G 27!! What type of rounds were you shooting? The carnage & sound leads me to believe that it is a range round? I prefer the Federal 155 grain jacketed hollow point for defense purposes. They seem to be most accurate & definitely increase the stopping power. Give them a shot!
Hi. I was shooting blazer brass and winchester 180 grain (I think) FMJ. I really like the blazer brass ammo expecially for the price. I was carrying hollow points in this for defense until I tried chambering the rounds while trying a large magazine out. It would like hang up as I worked the action. So I did a test working it by hand with all my clips with hp's and sure enough jams. So I tried it with the blazer brass and worked smooth everytime. Most likely jam would not occur, but hp's makes a
automatic more apt to jam. So now I carry a hollow point in the pipe and rest in blazer brass. My dad always told me that but I had to find out for myself. Chances of a jam are minumal with a glock with any ammo but if working it by hand led to hang ups with hp's and not with fmj then I'd say while actually firing the gun it would jam with hp's at some point.
Hmm. Interesting. I've slung a lot of hp lead down range and never had my 27 jam... ever. My Sigma 40 on the other hand jams quite often especially after a couple boxes of ammo have been thrown through it. Happy shooting!
It didn't jam while shooting hollow points. I was manually pulling the slide back chambering Hp rds in a 30 rd magazine and it jammed. So I tried all my 9 shot mags doing a test the same way and got the same results. The FMJ I could not make jam it. I understand while shooting the pistol the slide is working much faster and with much greater force and a jam with hp's while shooting would be slim. This told me though the odds of a jam with the Hp's are greater than with the FMJ rds.
yeah when zombies start running the earth(Barack Obama being one of them) and start killing people, we will all laugh at your unprotected self hahahahaha
I am thinking about either getting me a barrel chambered in .357 sig for my glock 27 or just getting a 32 glock that I have my eye on. I've read the ballistics and the .357 seems to be a little faster than the 40 S&W and quite a bit faster using something like cor-bon ammo. I really like the 40 cal though and I know the .357 sig is just a necked down version of the 40. What model .357 did you get? Is the recoil bad?

They say the average gun attack occurs at 3 feet. This pistol is perfect for CCW because it's so small! sweet vid!

wow.. i wonder if 9mm will go threw that sheet metal the same as your 40 cal.

Yes it does. I tried a 9mm in another video shooting this trunk and it goes through just as easily.

dude a 22 will go thru that !! a 9mm will cut thru that as if it was paper !!

That speed loader is bunk. Your Glock manual will explain how to use it if you want to but I don't recommend it.

Don't it if you find it easier to load by hand

Be careful with the 30 rounder, (scherer) if its not Factory Glock don't use the mag.
