  • i bought like 5 of these snails, after a few months they had babies now i have like 20 or more. At least they got rid of the annoying little snails which look horrible.

  • @MJayP93 i actually don't mind the other types of snails.. cuz snails eat uneaten food and generally help clean up a bit.. but the assasins are a lot better looking then regular pond snails or mts..

  • @dnbjay93 the ones in the vid were new in the tank.. so for some reason they had those long tubes out.. like they're exploring or sensing or something.. when they're chilling they don't have the long tubes extending all over the place..

  • are 5 ok in a 60 gallon tank, i don't have a snail problem, but i was wondering if i could have 5 as a back up just in case, what would i feed them? should i go to the petstore and ask them for (free) pond snails to feed a few times a week? or are they ok to eat leftover food? will 5 make a large dent in my red cherry shrimp pop, or am i ok?

  • @ciciironwill27

5 is fine, 10 is fine, depends how many u want.. a 60 can support a lot.. pond snails would be good to feed them, but they also eat leftovers, and they don't bother shrimp as far as i know.. @farmgirl, maybe yours are eating other stuff? but i'm sure once they get hungry enough they will eat your snails..

  • I have got three but they seem to be very picky and/or not hungry, there are pond snails all over the place, all sizes and the assassins will pass right by them and glide off somewhere else.

  • Mine just had babies!
