Nice what do you use to do this? I've only used photoshop and it takes FOREVER! My sis has used flash in school, she says it's a lot easier, but it's like $400.
for this old series, I used macromedia. now I use that and photoshop. photoshop to draw the frames, and macromedia to animate.
but yeah, for this first series, I used just macromedia. and you shouldn't get it for $400, that's expensive for what it is. try looking for a free download somewhere.

I guess their fur darkens as they get older?

I believe you have to buy photoshop. maybe you could find a download somewhere, but I'm not sure.
