@Passion4Gotten: Buffalo stance is a defensive stance where you stand to the side with your arms wrapped. Like many rappers did at the end of their raps during "battles" "back in the day." This was "borrowed" from Native Americans in "counting coup" competitions (Standing to the side makes you a smaller target, and it makes it more difficult to knock you down if some one is charging at you). The buffalo stance is meant to intimidate your opponent.

I like this song alot. Brought me back to my 20's hanign on the beqach and surfing all day. I just heard on the radio the other day that Nenah Cherry is a lesbian. Not like it matters at all but I was still a bit stunned. Never saw it is why. If it's true, I'm sure she didn't want to be tabloid fodder but to be left alone as it's not really newsworth stuff anymore. This song is a timeless classic and not a one hit wonder song. It has longevity and they should play it more often.
