what i would give for dinasour jr to play at reading again....i pray to god they play in 2012. i love them so so much and what makes me sad is the amount of clueless people at reading these days who dont appreciate the music. i was there this year watching interpol and someone next to me actually asked "who is interpol"..it's so disgraceful.

@musicislove25 I know who Interpol is. they are that one band that really wishes they were joy division and are "indie" cause they can rip off a sound that was around 30 years ago that no one today remembers.

How can anyone not recognize the greatness of this band? It's not like they're playing super sophisticated music that's hard to get into, yet I've seen a few recent festival vids with Dino and the crowd isn't that into them. Very sad. I guess they'd rather listen to Nickelback or something.

I'd reccomend any of the first three albums to start off with, Dinosaur, You're Living All Over Me and Bug. They are three of the best albums ever, hope you enjoy them.

Yes-Jowas hit the nail on the head. The first three albums(ones with this original lineup) are golden. However all their albums are worth owning imo. Green Mind, Where You Been, Without A Sound(has this song) Hand It Over, and Beyond are the others.

I was there, was a bit of a lame crowd, but I suppose they wernt as well known as other bands playing in other tents.

It did get lively in the first couple of rows, made it worth it :)

Just because someone isn't jumping around like a loon doesn't mean they aren't enjoying the music. Shouldn't be gauged that way. I saw Mascis play and loved it, but stood motionless in the front row, albeit with a big silly grin on my face the whole time.
