  • You know I googled this photo (it had the back as well in a small pic in the corner) and printed it, showed it to the hairdresser, and she couldn't do anything near this beautiful result which was received on this video. On the top of that, my hair was dropping out of the bun all the time. ):

The hair was ment for a wedding, and yeah, I was a bit dissapointed. Lucky it looked pretty when I took off the bun.

Watching this video sure makes it simple to do this look though. Great job!

  • I like it, but it's too formal to be anything like jessica albas hair!

  • Thanks and Happy Christmas

  • His good and natural, the chick is annoying

  • Ohhh god! I love this tutorial and it does actually seem pretty easy to get this look, but my god this vid is cheesy! "Which do you prefer? :D!!!"

  • I hate doing "important" stuff with bobby pins. I always feel like they are not gonna hold, and if I put a lot of them I just don't feel like it's good. But I really love this hair style... s*it!

  • Where do you get those pins from the beginning?

  • @megagleekify Those are called duck clips. You can get them at any beauty supply store.

  • @usagiakileo Thanks! x

  • haha there isnt one second in this video where she is not smiling:)

  • I think you rock the look better than Alba.

  • he's good !

  • This is great. Now to just find a hair pin...

  • @SpanishHazel you can always use a bobby pin!

  • @YourMichellee I meant a pretty hair pin like the metal flowers Susan had put in her hair. Thanks for the suggestion though! :) Time to get crafty...I'm making a few crochet flower pins.

  • @SpanishHazel Did I tell you who makes the pins? It's Colette Malouf. Google her. She has really pretty hair pieces!

  • @Susanyara I just went to her website and I can't wait for her fall collection. It seems like everyone this fall is going the cabaret/1930's retro style. I love it. Thanks.

  • @SpanishHazel I know! So good right? Let me know if you get anything. Would love to see. :)

  • Love it! Have to buy a curl iron! :D

  • @cocoblanche I can't go anywhere without my curling iron. Definitely invest in one!

  • this is really nice but so time consuming. I need my own hair stylist :D

  • @MsBill4bong It's definitely a little time consuming, but I've been practicing the pin curls and once you get them down it goes faster.

  • lol you have to sit there and smile almost the whole video. (:
