@youwillbowtome Dude, I'm a massive Mastodon fan and I'd take them over SOAD any day of the week, but you should know that Brent was slaughtered and started that fight for no reason but because he was drunk, so he deserved what he got (a beating, not near-death). Brann didn't get into details, but in an interview after the incident, he said that he has never seen so much good come out of such a bad incident. I'm guessing that by that he meant Crack The Skye and Brent watching how much he drinks.

I live on the crappy IOW, so when I heard that SOAD were playing at fucking Download, I was crying my eyes out! I mean I'm 18 now and have never been to a concert, gig or festival in my life, and have been through much tough shit in my past in high school, and this band, THIS FUCKING BAND, have saved my life. I don't know what the hell I would do if it wasn't for their inspiration and music!!!

Also people travel from all over the world to come to Glastonbury, TITP, R&L etc, lol you really don't live far away.. next summer for example I'm hoping to go to Sonisphere/Download, Reading and Bestival !

But not Glastonbury, even if you don't like the music as Glasto (which has the most diverse music) from reggae, punk, rock, folk, indie, pop, dance, rave you will have the best time of your life. It's not like any other festival at all. So much to do and everyone is fucking awesome and it has the best atmosphere (in the world imo haha)
