  • MTD blows ass.

  • @Kingoftehill, you blow ass, noob

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf He's right, MTD blows ass...at least the modern ones. They only use Chinese (Zongshen) engines these days....no more Briggs for MTD. Modern MTD's suck ass.

  • @meccaturbo, i have no problem with my MTD mowers, all my MTD mowers have choke-o-matics carbs, better than plastic carbs, i'll tell you what blows ass, Cub Junket

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf If you go buy a modern MTD, it will have a chinker engine....pure garbage. Briggs Classic engines are much better.

  • @meccaturbo, all the briggs engine i have are made in the early 90's 80's, and the 70's, i have a couple of the late 60's model, and one 1959 cooper mower with a float type carb briggs, and i still have it

  • fuck me dead, thats high idle isn't it?

  • @5dot7, nope full throttle

  • Jesus Christ, why is it idling so fucking high!

  • @JDK0316191, because the fucking throttle lever is jammed high at full fucking throttle so it won't fucking idle down when i fucking mow, jesus christ -_-

  • Awesome! Gotta love those metal carbs!

  • nothing easier to rebuild then the new styles when your in business repairing this shit everyday. You dont have to rebuild the plastic ones you just replace diaphragm and gasket and good to go. Old aluminum ones always leak and shit. diaphragm kit for plastic one is 4 dollars. Come work on 800 walk behind mowers a year then talk to me about what is junk.

  • :) nice. I have a husqvarna mower with briggs and sratton 5.5 hps in it. its about 8 years old :P always starts at first pull with priming the engine by pushing the thing three times ike advised. engine had only one check up ever and it was a few months ago, they sharpened the blade changed oil new air filter and adjusted some things so it goes a lil faster but thats it... XD have a nice day

  • i have a briggs 3.5 hp with a plastic carb. which i thought is dumb on a mower but it still works great accually and its the plastic carb with the choke-o-matic and if you don't believe me watch my vids on my profile. and i don't need to work on it every day as i take CARE of my small engines and never have to work on them but a tune up

  • You guys are nuts. Old choke-o-matic are junk!!! try working on them everyday you will see what is junk.

  • bullshit, them old choke-o-matic are better than plastic carbs, this mower i bought it new, 3 hours later, it runs like shit, black smoke puffing, taking a lot of petrol, i put a choke-o-matic on that thing, and it ran like a top, plastic carbs vs. aluminum carbs, when plastc carbs goes bad, replace it, aluminum carb, tear down, put in new needle valve kit and diaphram and it's good to go, choke-o-matic has a needle valve so you can adjust it, while plastic carb don't have one and are POS! :P

  • generalee31184, you sure don't know dick about those plastic carburetors, as SpiritsoftheWolf said, you cannot rebuilt or clean bad plastic carburetors, they just has to be replaced, with aluminum carburetors, you can easily take apart, dip them in the carburetor cleaner, replace the needle valve, and diaphram, put it back together and it will run like new, plastic carburetors you cannot dip them in the cleaner, as it will eat the plastics, and you cannot adjust them, they are P.O.S. ,like you

  • shut the fuck up you do not know shit about carburetor's as I can see them choke o matic carbs are great plastic carbs WORST disign EVER

  • @1972FordF150 i hope you know what a choke o matic carb is

  • @Gatewayuser200 I've got 2 of them and rebuilt them as well. I've only had a diaphragm problem with 1 because it was 30 years old. They work great for me. I've had nothing but problems with these primer carburetors.

  • @Gatewayuser200, yes, choke-o-matics are far better than plastic carbs with primer bulbs, the choke-o-matics carbs have needle valve that you can adjust the carbs for proper fuel/air mix, the pastics don't have needle valve

  • Cool dude! :)

  • runs great i see it has the older choke-o-matic carbs they are great too 5 *****

  • yes, them choke-o-matic works a lot better than these newer mowers with plastic carbs, this engine did had a plastic carb, i took it off and replaced it with a REAL carb, runs a lot better, easy to rebuilt and easy to maintain :)
