I wonder why there are such recommendations in the right side of the page such as "Paris Hilton, Kardashian, etc" "girl sticks his ass" "how to approach a woman" and such in ALL buddhist videos on youtube, even on Mantras.. nice try by Mara to create attachment to the lowest things...
The esoteric meaning of the great liberation is the 49 days of a samadhi; a spiritual awakening that lasts as long in lucid recognition of the oneness of all things as one's own nature, and that this total stopping is exactly the same as death, the spirit passes through the various lights of the ever-physical bardos from the darmakaya on down until they find one that resonates with their spiritual evolution. Every moment of time a death rebirth cycle until one awakens to one's true nature.
thanks for the video my friend, this has opened my eyes and has added another understanding perception towards my life. I am only concerned if I could know this knowledge after I die so that I can guide myself, calm myself down and understand the reason for my random sufferings and make a right choice. I had my eyes wet during this incredible journey.
Thank you very much for this wonderful and insightful clip. I have gained so much learning from this clip. Once again, thank you so much. May you always find happiness.
@MrGodthatdied Actually, no. lol I'm the second guy who thumb this down. It wasn't a bad video. It did open my mind to ideas I never heard of before. If I get lost after death I'ma just remember to think I am seeing my own mind or consciousness or whatever.
@omarlives Yeah, it's cool. But aren't all traditions passed down, so what makes these people so special? I wouldn't have thumbed it down until I saw what you wrote about whoever downed this should get a life. You should vote for Ron Paul if you're so smart.
@MrGodthatdied Just because they say you are meeting your mind after your dead doesn't mean that's actually what happens, right? I mean death is still the great unknown mystery, so Tibetans can't pretend they know what happens because they don't. I'm surprised this didn't get more dumb downs.
This gives great inside and shows that not a big house, a good job and social status is important but compassion and peacefulness will lead to liberation and great happyness in this live and in future ones. May all beings reach freedom from suffering.
what a crap!!that yahuah, yahusha the living god have mercy on all of you who believe in this teachings!new age satan work all the way,u people are so easy to foul.
You're pretty judgmental for someone trying to be righteous. I'm born a Christian and my cousin converted to Catholicism and I've talked to leaders of these denominations and Buddhism and consider myself well read. When choosing my words wisely and draw parallels between these teachings of Jesus etc, all the leaders agree there is little difference. Most important similarities are compassion, and care for one another. If you're here breeding hate who's really doing the work of Satan?
Getting as much right about ourselves while living in the here and now is so essential! In order to assist with one not falling victim to their own unaware allures. Such truths are a very serious journey!
A coworker who is participates in the dominant religion of the American South said to me on finding out I am a Buddhist that I have to seek his god person to have eternal life. I replied to him that my greatest fear when the womb closes on my next life is that the womb will be inside one who has his faith. I am fully aware I will not be liberated from suffering - too much bad karma but I can think of no worse return than to one of those critters.
To an extent your coworker is right. If you believe in god (hence the white light) you will have eternal life !!!.... Over and Over and Over and Over Again !!!! : )
Oct-17-2011--The state of our minds in life affects the nature and quality of our experiences in death and our true essence has never been born and can never die. Accessible and authentic as always Buddhas teaching of 'impermanence' : that all things arise and fade away - that all things are temporary in nature.
People have a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar.
I have a real problem with Budhism, this is my primary critique:
It urges to let go of reason, the only thing that separates us from the other animals. Dharma and rebirth are being used to manipulate other humans, with terrible consequences.
Reflection of one's own life and solidarity towards other lifeforms is a good thing.
"Religion keeps the poor and uneducated quiet, Philosophers see it as a fallacy and the authorities find it useful"
@MexxPowers Most of us attribute too much importance to what we generally call logic / reason / rational.
In actuality our rational thought is not all that we are, we have a few other mental abilities which most of us are not fully aware of or don't appreciate them for what they are, namely what are sometimes referred to as emotional intelligence, social abilities, empathy etc... As a result most of us are not in a balanced harmonious state inside. There are systems that search for a harmony.
“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders...."
@wojcikpawel89 ".... Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” The Buddha
Inspiring... but if I may give a recommendation of related materiel: The Psychedelic Experience: A Manual Based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead (Citadel Underground) // this offers an interesting perspective combining thought and practice from multiple disciplines, all seeking Truth, Compassion, Wisdom and ultimately a Higher-State of Awareness in which to evolve from as we progress on our Multidimensional journey through Light and Darkness..... Peace!
narrated by Leonard Cohen that is awesome. they say that 49 days is the usual length of time between one's life and rebirth...in humans, the pineal gland also appears after the 49th day of gestation ( =
