I'm not mad at her teaching, or even her understanding of humility, but what I don't understand is after she preached about humility and submission to God, she seems to be submitting to Jakes... and that just straight up confuses me... I took the good, but I'm mos def leaving the bad.

I disagree...there is only one problem with this consecration. Bishop Jakes cannot forgive sins. Only Jesus Christ! He can forgive her for wrong she done to him personally. He is in error with his words. Plus, she should not bow down to no one but God. I pray God will open your eyes to the truth.

This sermon was about T D Jakes and Juanita falling out. And alot of things that was said and done on this platform i don't agree with and is not scripture. Jakes said to her as she was on her knees: "Thy SINS be FORGIVEN thee". (WHO CAN FORGIVE SINS BUT GOD ONLY???) PLZ READ MARK 2:5-10. These ppl better stop trying to entertain folks! And we as a Church better stop coming to church looking for entertainment n start payin attention to what these pastors/preachers are SAYING and DOIN.

I for one click on to be inspired but get so down hearted when reading so many mean and judgemental responses. Not to stand in defense of Juanita Bynum, because I'm sure G-d can defend His own annointing. I see a lot of negative comments and a lot of positive, and I'm not on either side. But I have seen a few people saying that this could've been done in private. The truth is non of us knows what went on in private. But JB is a preacher/teacher; it's what she does,and has much influence. So, I think she did it this way to teach others, not to bring attention to herself... I don't know, just a thought.
If people know the history of Jakes and Bynum then you will understand this event. The Jakes camp and Bynum camp were into conflict when Bynum branched off into her own ministry. IT is good to reconcile but this was more of a show to stop the rumors and conflict than a reconciliation. But you create confusion by acting as God and putting on these elaborate shows. THese people make themselves greater than the rest of Gods people. They promote themselves with no accountability.

This whole video series of her at mega fest really was heart felt. it brought tears to my eyes seeing how people humble themselves for god to move in their lives. I really took heed to this that I will never error in my ways, for my anointing will never exceed my spiritual parents. I think he was referring to the sins she committed against him. He has to be able to forgive her for the wrong she's done, or he can be hindered for unforgiveness. I don't think he meant it to be portrayed like he was Jesus and was forgiving ALL her sins period; just the ones she did against him--if that is what you meant.

Lord help me to be humble before man, Father God I pray that she is still humble and seeking your face, and if not, break her down again so that she will stay in your will. I think he was referring to the sins she committed against him. He has to be able to forgive her for the wrong she's done, or he can be hindered for unforgiveness. I don't think he meant it to be portrayed like he was Jesus and was forgiving ALL her sins period; just the ones she did against him--if that is what you meant.

May the Spirit of God that was so clearly at work here in this video rekindle Prophetess Bynum daily till the Fire of God's Perfect will be done in her life as ordained from the beginning. I have to go along with, stripedchair, and also add this, and flame me if that's what you have to do, but... this seems a bit ostentatious. Where did Jesus pour oil on heads and take shoes in order to forgive. Yes, I know what went on in the old testament, but Jesus was the fulfillment of the law. If others repented because of this,good. I don't know Ms. Bynum's heart, I'm just reporting about appearance. I don't like what I saw.
