The moon was 6 billion y/o, but when somebody theorized the moon came from the earth, they bumped it down to 4.5 billion. They also bumped down the ages of stars, galaxies, and interstellar dust clouds to fit them under a 13.7 billion y/o universe. Apparently they can just change dates at will to make their theories work. But I doubt any of these take into account the acceleration of expansion, inflation theory, or different Hubble constants. We don't know the age of the universe.

You take all these diffrent numbers and messurements from diffrient field and you come up with the BEST/most probibal answer for how old the universe/earth is.

Science is all about coming up with the most probibal answers based on the scientific evidence that we find.

If science says it can date something, but then later ignores its date because it doesn't fit another theory, then their dating must not be reliable. If it is reliable, then it shouldn't change. Simply changing dates to fit a new theory while ignoring actual dating methods doesn't sound like the way science should work.

I mean it's not just 4-5 dinousaur bones that have been dated correctly by this method. It's MILLIONS and MILLIONS of archeological artifacts from the romans, egyptcan, mayans, chinas empire! Aswell as all the bones that they have found in the world!
