I have an English double barrel shotgun with hammers made probably late 1800s. The barrels are in great shape and I know where i can find all the reloading tools. I need to know what kind of powder to use and how much. Any advice?
@rredman84 If it's 12 gauge, probably start with 75 grains FFg black powder and and ounce of shot, with felt wads in between. Make sure you use the right length shell, that should be stamped into the barrel lump.
