  • Some faggot in a suit with not a creative bone in his body flagged this up. Go make your shitty reboots and remakes you filthy no talent studio whores.

  • FUCK WMG! what is the point of youtube this way?

  • FUCK YOU WMG

  • Fuck you Warner Music Group. Fuck you real hard!

  • go to NA90IlymdZ4 on YouTube to watch with sound before they silence that one as well.

  • Technically (I work for local media/news) this falls under fair use. THere's no market for this fucking song. I just want to post it on FB for a laugh. WMG is a part of a sinking ship, full of dinosaurs trying to cling to the last sinking penny of a doomed voyage. Watch for WMG to disappear in the next few years.

  • Is it seriously that hard to spell the name of the song correctly? Jesus christ.

  • Wasn't this song written like forty fucking years ago?

  • FUCK WMG. eat the peanuts out of my shit you greedy cunts.

  • stfu wmg

  • Silence is not golden!!! But this clip was!

  • what song is this?!!!!

  • Thank you for the great classic song

  • Thank you for the great classic song

  • boo on you for corporate assholes

  • the funny is that WMG doesn't own this version E. B. Marks company does

  • What is a Manah Manah?

It's the enemy of WMG, apparently. :-(

  • Somebody should disable WMG!

  • I was getting ready to listen to this and its copyrighted. WOW sad.

  • The people from WMG should authorize this. I guess they don't get the new era of internet and sharing.

Please read: What would Google do? And benefit from it. This way of blocking and controlling is soooo Old School.

  • So is it not expressing yourself to share something that is important to you? That's what all these websites are supposed to be about anyway. Since when did self expression have some sort of legal framework? This whole notion of copyright is completely outdated and obsolete, we own our own experiences and shouldn't have to pay to relive them when technology has made that possible. People with no imagination always claim those who do wouldn't make this stuff if they weren't paid, but you're wrong

  • This same video was posted by somebody else from another country other than Canada and US and the audio was not cut out. Also seen a few home made videos using the sound track from this bit. Why wasn't the audio cut out from those? It seems to me that rosswagner0525 has a point. Its not global.

  • Granted, Jim Henson worked on both Sesame Street and The Muppet Show, I believe this is from the latter, not Sesame Street.

  • stupid wmg. wmg ruins youtube. fuck you wmg

  • hey it not manamah watever its phanomonome

    or somthing like that

  • Its manamana ._. Mana mana :D

  • hey who knows another url of this video?? some link??

  • yeah its pretty stupid they disable the audio

no reason to be so anal about it people remember this as kids why ruin it for everyone

  • wow you guys are just ridiculous im not fucking trying to express myself i just liked this song when i was a kid im not claiming at as my own and i know its from the muppets i just made a mistake calm down dont get your panties in a knot and the only reason i posted this is because nobody had it posted so i thought people would want to hear this song so just shut up

  • Nice language after posting something for kids.

  • the audio gets taken off by youtube... it says under the video.

  • Fuck your copyright! I want to listen to the audio too!

  • dam you thgirypoc

  • Rage, I liked this song and this was the quickest place to get it for me.

  • shit! I'm DEAF!

  • Soon it will be a copyright to fart the wrong way! >:(

Youtube is supposed to be for posting media and expressing yourself.

Well, i guess we can't do that anymore. >:P

  • How exactly are you expressing yourself posting someone else's work?

  • Signifying the claim to ownership is only for the purpose of remuneration.

The only reason these fools have claimed copyright is so they can extort financial benefit from media that is part of peoples culture/youth.

It all comes down to money, did the person post the video to seek or gain monetary benefit? No.

Did the person/entity claiming copyright feel as though their work is being infringed? No.

They owners want to be paid again for the same work. Now that is the true crime.

  • He still hasn't explained how he is expressing himself by posting someone else's work without any changes.

  • How do u express urself when u wear clothing designed & manufactured by sum1 else? How do u express urself when u style ur hair in a fashion invented by sum1 else?

Can someone own sound itself? If i was to reuse a sample from that audio to make something else better from the original, is that stealing?

This whole concept of expressing ur own artistic/musical interest is probably a blurry concept, but consider this, if ownership extends 2 something in ur personal possession- where does it stop?

  • You don't. Stay in school champ. The person who uploaded this didn't do anything. They just uploaded it with no changes. This isn't a mash-up, or anything else. It doesn't remotely have anything to do with expressing themselves.

  • Me stay in school? How witty....

The people who created this, released it as a broadcast. Hence they have already recieved payment for their work. Do you receive payment twice or more times for your work?

The person uploaded a TV BROADCAST. Ownership and copyright only extends to re-creating it to recieve payment (off of the work of others).

Expression comes from our remembrance of it. Like a picture invokes sentimentality.

Nevermind, i can't be bothered in arguing for a lost cause!

  • @burgerfred idk wat alf of that meant, but wat i did understand is true

  • wow you're obviously a complete retaurd that's the muppet show idiot from season one. in the caption you said that it's a hilarious classic, and you don't even know where it's from?!

  • thank you!!! i thought that too

  • OMG youtube is getting a little ridiculous.....where's the flippin sound?

  • isnt that the muppets?

  • do do do do do :0

  • thats the muppets you idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the muppet with the shades reminds me of randy savage

  • The song was first used in a very badly made softporn movie. Muppets did this a couple of times. This version and one with Sandra Bulleck where she is a psychologist and she says Phenomenon. . .it was cute.

  • Isn't this Muppets?

  • It's on the first season DVD for the muppet show

  • Me and my Mom still sing this--shes 74!!!

  • best song ever

  • Sorry folks...like pippozg said....this was from "The Muppet Show" not Sesame Street.

  • THANK YOU!

  • Yup, Muppet Show. Watched this episode with my folks when I was a little girl. We watched it every week, it was prime time, baby!

  • the question is...."who cares!"

  • the answer is..... "i do"

  • my answer is... i agree with pippozg

  • It was a crossover song. It was on Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.

  • This song is pretty funny.

  • Yes, "Muppet Show", genius.

  • it's MUPPETS, i love this song, fix the title

  • I'm 90% sure about this being a Rowlf song. I had a 12' record when I was young of Muppet songs, and this was one of them. I distinctly remember the 'credit' going to Rowlf for it - although this was 30+ years ago, I might have mis-remembered it. He was also on the cover of the album in a sort or Liberaci pose :D

  • Definitely "The Muppet Show" and not "Sesame Street"; note the backstage area and Kermit's desk!

  • and the old guys in the balcony. 100% The Muppet Show. i loved Pigs in Spaaaaace!

  • Those pink ones look like boss monsters from Super Mario Bros 2.

  • birdo!!!

  • This is from Muppet Show S01E01 ^^ I think it's the first thing that comes in the episode ^^ So yeah oO

    The question is, who cares?!

    LMAO, Classic!

  • This serves no educational purpose whatsoever, but it's still fucking awesome.

    Long live Henson!

  • i want one of those pink things they are so cute and PINK love love love pink

  • I'd never have guessed! ;-)

  • Those pink things are made for BJ's

  • Fell off the chair :D

  • loved it as a chid, love it now

  • AWESOME

  • i LOVE the Manamanah song

  • First thing that come's to my mind is Muppet Show! :D

  • 'Mahna Mahna' was also performed on the Ed Sullivan Show, in 1969. Both that version and the Muppet Show version use the 'do do do do' refrain (and have Mahna Mahna & the Snowths), while the Sesame Street version uses 'ba de ba de' and has an entirely different set of Muppets (a beatnik and two girls).

  • only american song i like =p well i love it :@)

  • actually this song is from the muppet show

  • lol this song is so catchy.

  • just epic

  • Yah, the audiotrack is from the Muppet Show, with Rolf the Dog singing. Looks like they made a new film for it and married the two together. Interesting bit of recycling!

  • NO ROLWF NEVR SUNG IT!

    R U THICK?

  • Was it originally Rowlf? Henson used that voice for a number of different characters, including Dr. Teeth and King Rupert II from "The Frog Prince."

  • 1:23 Best part!

  • i wuz always scared at the middle where the guy runs closer and closer to the screen. oh and the pink pig things r kinda freaky 2 lol.
