There should have been 2.4 or 2.5 seconds on the clock period...regardless of if you are a Clemson fan or Duke fan. I wonder...did they go through the entire game and critique every clock-stoppage and see if those were all done correctly as well? It could be that there shouldn't have even been 5 seconds on the clock for Clemson to get that last shot off themselves. It sucks but you gotta be good enough to beat the team you're playing and the refs & that goes for any sport.
Granted, but when its close situation, they are suppose to be on the top of their game, because that when there is more focus on time. I work as a scorer in local parks and rec and know this because even in little kid's games, parents focus less during the game to the clock, but if it is close they no if you slip and will complain, and we can get fired.
