Seems like you'd have some sort of safety interlock that would prevent the person from falling if the net's not in place, rather than rely on some guy not having a brain fart.

Last that i have heard is that she is paralyzed but no brain damage. And it wasn't the ride it was the person at the top he told her to jump before the net was up...this is what i have been told do not quote me.

this was, YET AGAIN, a stupid human error mistake surely by a lazy or stupid operator. OR it was the fault of an inspector, either-or.

it wasn't an act of nature, an act of God.

it was 100% preventable and someone let this girl down by being dumb, miscalculating.

i hope:

A) she lives

B) she's not handicapped as a result

C) she sues this company for a ton of money and wins

The net was to low yesterday and a 12 year old girl hit the ground on this ride, she lived but is in bad shape.
