  • The only video and he plays a song with no bass, wow...

  • Hey thanks, I've been looking at under seat subs and I think you just sold me. Sounds good!

  • i hafta say.. ive been doin research on a few powered subs for a few weeks... JVC, Boss, SSL, Pyle, Pioneer, and a few others... this vid has convince me to get this one... and i like where the levels are located... good looks!

  • @slikdarelic

I ended up sending the subwoofer back. It was too boomy for me. I went with a 12" rockford fosgate subwoofer for the trunk and it sounds a million times better. I really think you can spend your money on a better subwoofer. I wouldn't recommend getting this subwoofer at all. Tried it out for a week and had to send it back.

  • Hey man, I absolutely love the WRX. I too have an 11 WRX (WR Blue) with an STi spoiler (swapped) and Nameless axleback. What song is this? Probably could just use google the lyrics, but whats the fun in that?

  • I like the car, it's a shame that it did not come with a Bose system. Subies tend to have lower than average stereo system because they focus about the driving dynamics rather than the audio system.

  • @peterkim1999

Yeah its ok though. I'll probably end up upgrading the stock speakers down the line. So far I've got a Pioneer AVH-4200 + Rockford Fosgate 12" subwoofer in the back and music sounds very good :)

  • @xAbre1200 I was thinking about the Sound Ordinance for my Mazda5. My tech's telling me I should go with 10" Kicker in the trunk. Not sure because I never installed an aftermarket subwoofer. Most of my previous cars had adequate basss. I was actually thinking of getting the 10" powered JL or Rockford Fosgate. But don't want to lose any trunk space. So, was looking at these but from watching this video, the bass sounds slightly inadequate, though I don't like booming bass either.

  • Jessie J lol

  • Ended up returning the subwoofer. It has decent sound for its size but it doesn't hit anywhere low enough.

  • @xAbre1200 thats because you had the bass set on zero

  • @TheTrueLifeChanger

No it's not because it was set on zero. If I had the bass set higher it would just distort and sound even worse. Overall I would not recommend this subwoofer if you care about bass. Maybe I got a bad unit but it just didn't meet my standards at all. I'm running a 12" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and it sounds 999x's better.

  • @xAbre1200 oh that sucks .. thanks for the info

  • @xAbre1200 it was your wire setup. A stock head unit puts out low power first of all, then splicing into the wires is not suggested. Im glad your new one sounds better though

  • very nice. Good work.

  • How did you get the power to it?

  • @msms300876

Ran power wire from under door trim, through the dash, and through a gromet above the dead pedal to the battery in the engine bay.
