I just watched this the other night and really enjoyed it. I'm not looking for The Tree of Life when I watch a movie like this, but the deaths were really cool and the twist was actually really cool in my opinion although it does bring up a lot of questions regarding the overall story arc and the rest of the films.

Some actors and actresses really stood out :] Emma Bell and Jacquellin Wood were amazing, and I really thought Miles Fischer was good! (he did have some flaw moments but overall he pulled the role pretty well)

The twists in the movie really made it, because without those it'd just be a regular other Final Destination movie. But the death scenes, hands down, were more tense and creative than ever,

I saw the movie and think if ur a fan of the series, you'll like FD5.... It goes back to it's roots but I thought the ending was really great. Heard they looking to do 2 more movies. If it's like 5 then I would check them out...

I myself have always been a huge fan of Final Destination till the 3rd one

I have to say that the 4th one entirely sucked and again they use new actors without any further experience. And it seems like the 5th one is even worse.

I agree, the 4th one was bad. Nick's CGI "visions" looked really terrible.

I saw the 5th, and in my opinion, it's a HUGE improvement over the 4th. Better death scenes and better plot (ESPECIALLY the ending).

Believe it or not, the Tom Cruise lookalike actually has a role in the next movie directed by Clint Eastwood. Perhaps he has some untapped potential that wasn't well served by the FD5 director.

And I understand this series is trademarked by a sort of sadistic gruesomeness, but isn't it a bit too much to painfully burn a girl's eyes out when she's clutching her teddy bear? That just seems so... cruel.
