Nicely done (it's very hard - but NOT impossible - -to see that wee diff mounted JACK -- just holding the truck UP enough .. so that tyhe driver was able to STAY OUT of the vehicle .. to make it look like it had no grip -- BUT there was ZERO road contact anyway (as if it HAD been on the deck -- u'da looked really silly - trying to scramble BACK inside eh.?)
Throw some weight in that thing and let some air out of them. looks like the rear is jacked up a lil so as the tires are not getting full weight of it. My KM2s work perfect in the snow and ac cell in the mud
has nothing to do with your tires its a weight issue I had the same problem with my Nissan pickup but i had brand new studded m+s tires i put 800 lbs of sand in the back and hardly ever had to put it in 4wd for the rest of winter
I was going to get a samurai but got a TJ instead. the samurais are cute little chucker pluckers . it was just too small. I could not put all my camp stuff in it. there is one thing good about them you can put them in a toy hauler.
@dupa333jelenia i love my km2's in snow but they suck ass on ice (i run 32 psi in normal driving conditions ) !!!! but when its icy i air down to 22psi and they are awsome !!!!!
I also use KM2 now and they are pretty good on snow, but far to be perfect. Anyway, as a balance between road, mud and snow, they are an option to fallow.
Si la volan cine era? o fantoma?... ceea ce ai tu parerea mea e ca sunt destul de bune...si daca tot ai jeep de ce nu folosesti 4x4?...ai jeep doar nu?...
A. That's ice you are on B. You don't have a locker or posi. I'm sure those tires work fine in the snow.....No tire, unless you have them studded, will work that great in ice.
Yep, that's the unfortunate trade off with off road mud tires. I've experienced the same thing with my Goodyear MT/R's. They also suck on packed snow surfaces. I damn near got stuck in the forest at 8,000 feet of elevation in freezing temperatures due to the poor traction of mud tires in snow. Thank God my Jeep Rubicon has locking differentials as this was enough to pull me out of the mess I was in!
If the vehicle weighs nothing, the tires are gonna spin... Samurais/Trackers SUCK in winter, no matter what the tires used. Might as well drive a hockey puck.
haha nice haha i love my jeep cherokee lockers front and rear i dont ever worry about this even when i drive on the solid ice lake for ice fishing try some lockers they work great
Sometimes I wonder if people have tried a really good snow tire, or if they just live places in the world where 5cm of snow is a catastrofe. Especially when they say BFG m/t is a good snow tire!
i left the car running at idle in 2wd and reverse mode because i've had no grip on that flat snow. In 4wd car runs well in the same conditions but far from regular winter tires
@suzuker over 60% of your weight is focused in the front of the vehicle. That is the number one reason for this...and ya theyr MUD tires so this can be expected like u said.
@suzuker actually, the M+S rating has nowt to do with the rubber composition, it is more to do with gaps in the tread- spaces vs. space occupied by tread blocks or something like that, I forget exactly what
I've ran 31x10.5xR15 BF Goodrich MT's on my truck for the last two years and have had great results. They ride nice, fairly quiet on pavement, and have great bite in the snow. 3 months ago I was unlucky enough to find out how well they perform on ice, running head on with an ice storm on some high grade blacktop roads. With the spaced tread and good pad ratio I was able to slow crawl steep grades on a solid sheet of ice with a 5400lbs chassis (2450 kilo). Only downer, they love throwing rocks!
i have a hard time believing this crap lol, all of our vehicles have the old and new mud terrains on them, and they go farther and harder than any others weve owned, in the snow and in the mud. This is just a bunch of bull, and the truck looks like it is sitten on something, the springs arent even compressed
@discountpoolspa doesnt matter what car u got mate, that coulda been on a patrol or cruiser with a 454 under the bonnet still would be doing the same thing
Might help if you took your foot off the brakes! Just kidding! Looks like a prank we played on someone before, set the back of a truck on jackstands so it barely cleared the ground. when they tried to drive off they thought their transmisson was blown! Funny as hell! Nice tires you have though, sure as hell beats the regular stock tires I use to run! Hows the treadwear on them M/T's! Have fun and stay safe!

MT's are no good on ice.. deep snow they are great.

put some weight into the vehicle. need pressure for traction

this is either a fake or a really bad driver lol
why are the front wheels not turning.. dont you have a diff lock? a 4x4 without diff lock can not be called offroad vehicle : P

That looks hillarious.
Probably some really bad ice causing the slip.
Check your front brakes. This scenario might be a result of slightly non-retracting calipers.
Dotchetter 10 months ago
It looks like he's high centered, and the tires arn't in contact with the snow
kershaw492 10 months ago
That suzuki is only to light for hard snow, thats why the tire doesn´t grip, maybe with a little less tire pressure would work better

M/T's = no siping, I personally prefer A/T's for my daily driver/boat puller/trail truck
