Volvo has been great...but they suck...

Great becuz they are not cheap, exterior or interior...fine reliability and safey..but out-dated boring interior console, and monotone appearance have always bored me...I think A4, 328, G37, IS 250, TSX/TL are all better than any of the Volvo model util this S60 is out...just from the pictures wwe have seen so far...it has changed..Volvo finally knows where its falling short....and glad to see its chaning...

The BMW will always be better, because BMW cares about how a car drives much more then how it looks. BMW's are always understated for a reason.

I agree sort of. I also think BMW is better then Volvo but if BMW's were ugly then some people just wouldn't buy them and the Old 7-s-series, current 6-series, and 5 series are seen as flashy by some, definitely not understated.The new 7,5, and 6 series are/will probably be understated as you say.

what you say about the old ones is kind of true but I always loved the looks of the old E30 M3 it just had great proportions, and was an exciting car during a very boring time for cars. It is true that BMW's have a snob factor to them but I'm an enthusiast and I think BMW is one of the few company that truly understands this.

i agree w/ u, partially...but it will "always be better"??? I doubt it..at least now some cars already outpaced BMW 3 series, which is something they are proud of the most..

e.g. Acura TL SH-AWD, and G37 are all as good, if not better..SH-AWD, is defly better..G37 prbly similar...

i was a passenger in a rollover accident in an rsx type s and the roof didnt hold up and I broke my neck. I narrowly escaped being paralyzed, but im stuck with horrible pain from nerve damage. It held up decently for how bad the crash was tho

we were speeding and there was a light at the end of a curve. he didn't see that. he was going to rear end me and decided to just go to the middle of the highway but hit a ramp which made him surve over to my jeep.. he hit my tire and that made him fly in the air.. he landed on a cop car that was on the turning lane and keep sliding and ended upside down on the intersection... 2 people came out without a scratch, one got hit by the air bag and the other got scratched by the glass...

haha holy crap. I bet the cop was massively pissed lol. Well its good noone was hurt badly. My accident happend only at approx 60mph, but the car flipped 4 to 5 times and hit a tree which stopped it rolling farther. My uncle was showing off and lost it around a turn and the car slid sideways off the road into the ditch which is what kicked it into the roll. I hate riding shotgun now lol

no, my friend. I did not say integra is a bad car. I said this particular model of volvo has definitive hints from integra, but BETTER built. i have owned japanese cars before, but modern volvo cars are waaaay better built.

Yeah you can tell how much automatic transmission and All wheel drive robs so much power.........

i mean 0-60 in this car was around 6.5 seconts which isnt bad at all....

but with 300 hp and that much torque id expect it to be in the mid to low 5 secont range if it was a rear wheel drive/ Manual car.....

i have a saab95 so i love German and Sweadish engineering, its the best.

But Volvo has always been selling and making a name for themselves on safety, with a touch of "sporty-ish" while BMW are more considered to be "driver's cars"... don't get me wrong, i'd rather have a volvo than a BMW and i also think, this here new model looks better than the old one, while the new BMW's are getting more and more ugly :D
