@hintonjonat isenguard and mordor has sauron and the only way to spawn him is if u search the map with units to find golem when u find him u have to kill him before he gets away and take the ring then bring it back to your main base building and buy him......he's a fucking fortune.... be warned when u die with him the ring will b dropped for anyone to snatch and do the same thing

@strategicfan It's not a mod. You can summon him just like any other hero. But you need to find Gollum running around (any map), kill him and you gain the ring. Whatever person has the ring send them to your Citadel. Once they enter, you can summon him I believe he costs 10000 pts. Different factions get different Ring Heroes.

Sauron sucks vs. a bunch of elves with mithril arrows. Dwarven heroes are also good at taking him out with a bit of support.

Sauron was way too weak in this game, a few upgraded archers would assrape him. But then again making him too strong would fuck up the balance. I hope they will make another one, the other 2 were great. Maybe the hype will return when the hobbit is released.

For anyone who wans to get him or Galadreal in a skirmish (or possibly war of the ring) you need to find Gollum. He is stealthed and hiding somewhere on the map. He also moves around. If you kill him he will drop the ring but it will tell EVERYONE where it is. Get it quick, return to your fortress and you can hire him for 10,000 resources.

Sauron is powerful but veryyyy slow... You can easly kill him with ELVEN archers.... their arrows are the best... I mean the silverthrown arrows! Just have 2 - 3 battalion of the mirkwood archers with their silver arrows and always keep moving... I always kill him with Legolas... Elves are the best!

It's easy to find the ring when playing the Men.

All you do is upgrade the fortress with ivory tower and click it once upgraded.

then you will be able to see everywhere on the map, even gollum. So order you cavalry since they are the fastest unit for men and kill him and you get the ring.

Sauron isnt as strong as some people think. I've taken him down a few times Online. You just need to kill their units first leaving Sauron alone and then he is dead... He cannot retreat because he is too slow. If you build towers at large distance appart (so he cant use the meteor magic) there is nothing he can do. By the time he reaches one he will be dead.

Sauron may be a slow hero in the game, but he has important pluses over Galadriel and the Balrog.

1) He has no trouble taking down anything. Galadriel takes some time (not a lot, but some) time to take down a building, and she has a lot less HP than Sauron. Sauron barely gets touched by arrows and can take down a fortress in two or three hits made quicker by ordering again.

2) The Balrog can't do shit against fortresses and is rather fragile. Sauron doesn't have that problem.
