Actually, the guy was trying to shake both of their hands you know like voters have done sine the beginning of time to test a man by his handshake and McCain assumed that he wanted to shake only Obama's hand. Thing about it you ever see anyone running for any office turn down a hand shake! Ever. Before this he had one canned black handshake and I thin two after but his coverage showed him trying to be a "white" as possible for a while till it was pointed out to him.

Maybe McCain just plain didn't like Obama. I mean, I have to admit, they really didn't see Eye to Eye on anything. It's not like he backed away and was like "Dude, don't hurt me for my lunch money!" He coldly waved his hand away, then gave him a fatherly pat on the shoulder, showing he thought little of him.

1. The "black guy" rises from his seat.
2. McCain taps Obama on the back to grab his attention.

At first I thought McCain snubbed Obama. However upon closer examination, it appears perhaps McCain and Obama had already exchanged greetings and McCain simply was introducing Obama to his wife, or the other possibility that what the commentator said in the video awas the case. Either that or he just had an awkward social moment where he didn't know when to go in for the handshake due to the black gentleman standing up in between them and the introduction was simply botched due to this.
