You can ask them to put rings in, but studs are easier to deal with until you get used to them, and it's easier to talk with studs if it starts hurting.

i did my snake bites myself and it doesnt hurt more then when you professionally get them done. but its better coz you can fake having them with magnet studs...my parents still dont know i have them actually pierced XDD and you dont look like a walrus haha

got my lip done 2-3 years ago and it didnt hurt at all!! swelled only the first night, a bit.

if the piercer is good the heeling time is small and the infecting chances even smaller!

Yours didn't hurt? AT ALL? When they put the needle in it only hurt for like 3 seconds. The next day it hurt quite bad though. xD You suit snakebites. ^_^

your lip should stop bothering you and youshould be used to it by atlast 2 weeks... i know i barely notice mine anymore unless i bite them in my sleep. The swelling should go down within 2 or 3 days...Some people only swell for a day so it just depends.

I took mine out for 3 days and they kinda healed and i just spent an hour shoving them back in... it hurts when their halfway healed and you do this!

Well, let me see... The first one does not hurt because you are pumped with adrenaline... I barely felt it. The 2nd one (which isnt in video) i felt a little more bc i lost that adrenaline rush... so that one hurt a little, and i felt like passing out (which is normal). But all in all I would say the initial pain doesnt hurt as much as the healin process--as in trying to eat and avoiding infections.I had a little infection in one but i was on a cruise and jumped into the jamaican salt water...

and within a day it was gone. But as a rating... i would say like maybe a 5... on the actually peircing. I don't know.. If i had the choice to do it again or not... i would def do it again! but i dont think im going to be getting anything else peirced... but i believe that my lip peircings hurt WAY more than my 2 tattoos! lol and i think thats weird.

The pain of the after piercing kills. I woke up the night of getting my snakebites and was like "wtf? bruising!"

Oh. My piercer accidentally dropped the needle down my cleavage. It was funny.

I had to take mine out for medical reasons but am getting them redone... hopefully in a few weeks or something.

She was probably angry the same reason my parents were apprehensive... She thought a huge hole was going to be left and you would scar real bad. Mine's barely even noticable.
