Will Goodyear (drummer of Prayer for Cleansing and original BTBAM drummer) does the King Diamond style vocals. At that time there was a bunch of little teenagers pretending to be metal (myself included), and it was probably a shot at people like us not even knowing who merciful fate was. Also, that part was amazing when it happened in 2003, so I don't really care about someones opinion of it in 2012.
If you haven't seen these guys live, you need to. Saw them at house of blues in Chicago about a month ago and I've never heard such good live sound. One of the best shows I've ever been to.
Those really high classic heavy metal vocals are done by their drummer, right?
Well, yeah that passage still feels really out of place and…… kinda gay. I wouldn't doubt the band regretting letting their drummer sing like that on this record, it just doesn't feel right with everything else.
@TheMutantMindframe Why would you argue against my opinion when it's my opinion? I think it sounds gay and very out-of-place, almost as if they're making fun of themselves. Love the band. though <3333 at least Blake Richardson doesn't risk making such a fool from himself.
@TehKrakerzGuy first of all, your question is really flimsy logic. are you saying no one should ever argue between two opinions ever because one opinion is one persons and the other is another persons? second of all, you're talking about the band that have put a polka and hoe-down jam in the middle of their songs. i'm pretty sure they're all all about having fun and not taking themselves too seriously. have you ever seen them speak in interviews or studio videos?
no offense man, but, why the fuck didnt you turn the volume up when u uploaded this song? I've already messed up my eardrums because of BTBAM and there's no other way for me to enjoy the song without the bass banging my eardrums.
Ive listened to them since the release of this album, watching them evolve over the years has truly inspired me as a musician. They never stop pushing their limits and now almost 10 years from this album, they have most certainly improved in every aspect of their sound, from riffs, to drums, to over all structure, and excellent vocals. I have yet to hear a metal band that can challenge BTBAMS diversity or determination..

@csaw12 yes, him and Paul are the two original members still in the band. I believe Will Goodyear, their old drummer, did some cleans on this album but please correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not sure
@Geetarguy4 Apparently a drumline coach according to Wikipedia? Golden song (no surprise to say the least). I don't listen to a lot BTBAM's early work, but I'll definetly start.

This band then and now is one of the best. They have definitely evolved, and changed and showed these other shitty metal bands how to be creative.

the power metal voice gives the song a little extra something. constant growling gets a little boring. this is my favouite song by this band =]
