what a great spot to sit down and play! Sterling video as ever!
I've thought about your advice and will wait until I can afford a nice bit of solid wood. I didn't cut corners when I bought my guitar and the uke deserves the same respect.
I've seen a nice solid top Ohana concert and a lovely totally solid Kala for similar money so i'll go and see Paul when i've saved some more cash.
Banks of the Seine in Paris.......Now that's a class act. Very Nice video. Thanks for taking the time to make this video it's so relaxing and your cover is awesome.
Excellent. One of my fav songs you do, in a beautiful setting. No need to apologize for a noise that we're all used too... I think we automatically tune it out and hear the awesome playing and singing.
you looked relaxed and having a good time playing in a beautiful setting bathed in warm sun. What might one do in a similar aural situation with noisy cars? Would you use a pick up directly connected to a recorder? Less spontaneous of course...
That song sounds so good on uke and you do it so well. I wonder if you ran the audio through a parametric eq, you might be able to notch a good bit of that noise out? Sounds like it's mostly in the upper frequencies.
You know, when you're in a setting like that, it doesn't matter if the sound is perfect! It sounded great to me, and what a great way to share some of your trip with us! So lovely!
Some folks might think you are already in heaven! Heavenly version. You are a good player to be able to make it sound so good under the conditions of noise and heat.
Awesome job!
Great song, performance and a beautiful setting never hurts.

Very nice! Love the setting! Too bad noise is often a problem with outdoor videos!

Yes, I didn't realise how bad it was when I recorded it.

It's strange. When you're walking along the river you don't actually notice the traffic noise.

All I had was my little snapshot camera. It seemed quiet 'cause I couldn't actually SEE the cars.

I tried that Darrell. when I tried to cut out the car noise, it took most of the vocals and ukulele as well. So I left it alone.
KenMiddletonUkulele 2 years ago
I may try again though.
