Not a good video. You need to explain how the cover is removed since it connects to the spark plugs through the boots. You simply don't rip the thing off. Screwing plugs into the holes is about all you showed. There is far more than you need to discuss and show with this engine.
This is what they call a back yard mechanic, doesn't know how to remove a socket and owns no torque wrench. I am sure he is a good guesser though, are you available to work on my car?
Thanks for your video, I replaced mines based on your knowledge. On the flip-side If you can update it with a more in depth visual then I wouldn't see why this isn't a 5 star video. But again thanks I just did mines and everything went smoothly. 4 stars in my book, and keep up the good work.
dude I think its alot easier to release the pressure of the socket, instead of pulling it out with pliers, just wrench the socket in reverse very lighty, not hard enought to actually spin the sparkplug but enough to release the pressure
What the guy sould say is when you remove the top plate your also removing the spark plug boots and the spark plug assembely which is plug and play connected. I changed mine myself and one of the boots broke in half and I used two part epoxy to fix. Also you meed a special socket for those plugs. The entire job cost me $18 at 115,396 miles and it made a world of difference. I t now has 130,428 and gets 25 city and 31 hiway.
