You can see also some videos on yt, just type "Green dragons Olimpija". But the support here is much smaller compared to Seattle. Also Ljubljana is a small town, less than 300.000 people.

i hate sounders with a passion. not a good team, come from nowhere and now thats all you here about on MLS blogs, ESPN and soccer websites. Columbus (my team) has been top team last 2 years, in league since begining and gets no recognition.
with that said, im still glad they're around. hopefully it sets an example to other teams to get numbers to games and good supporter sections. i can't wait till the timbers enter the league. that game will be fun to watch.

Ever since the US hosted the World Cup in '94, football has been gaining popularity, albeit rather slowly. It'll take some time, but it will eventually become a spectator sport; fortunately, it won't have to compete with the NFL for time slots on TV.
Too bad I can't say the same about rugby; rugby takes the back seat here and in Canada because of gridiron, and vice-versa everywhere else. Then there's the Australians and their Aussie rules; it does look interesting however.

MLS Supporters suck in general. but Seattle Sounders are probably better than groups from other countries. All the "eurosnobs" talking shit about this. They have a point. Even the Japs have it down to a science, better than some Euro groups. And Soccer isnt even the #1 sport in Japan.

i hate sounders with a passion. not a good team, come from nowhere and now thats all you here about on MLS blogs, ESPN and soccer websites. Columbus (my team) has been top team last 2 years, in league since begining and gets no recognition.
with that said, im still glad they're around. hopefully it sets an example to other teams to get numbers to games and good supporter sections. i can't wait till the timbers enter the league. that game will be fun to watch.

Ever since the US hosted the World Cup in '94, football has been gaining popularity, albeit rather slowly. It'll take some time, but it will eventually become a spectator sport; fortunately, it won't have to compete with the NFL for time slots on TV.
Too bad I can't say the same about rugby; rugby takes the back seat here and in Canada because of gridiron, and vice-versa everywhere else. Then there's the Australians and their Aussie rules; it does look interesting however.

Seattle has nothing on mls, or soccer. it has absolutely nothing to contribute. probably the worst team in the league. i mean ya they won the US open cup and were the most successful expansion team in years, broke every attendance record, hired the best coach, beat Houston more than Houston beat them, have almost a 40 yr heritage and come from one of the most soccer-rich regions in the country, and in north America.
