  • Mate push the bolt locking lever ( actual name has escaped me) the square on the other side ( bolt release catch) is for letting it forward the way you do it here can ruin the locking system

  • realistic hard trigger pull? i always find the triggers on L98's easy

  • @fdsdh1 It has a pretty snappy trigger, better than most, but not as heavy as real steel.

  • does this gun have a threaded barrel?

  • nice vid looking to trade a jg sr25 or army arma l85

  • @kingd3001 I would offer to trade, but the one from this video is kinda broken.

  • @KrykoStorm whats wrong with it may i ask

  • @kingd3001 I'm actually not sure, I touched it in a long time. Its in pieces and is missing a fuse, I think the piston broke (again). The original piston is known to break easily, especially with the blowback option. I think I replaced it with a G&G SR-25 piston. I gotta take some time out some day to take a look at it.

  • hey eny one know wich is better the one from G&G or the one from Army Armament

  • @lisbeth332156 This one is a clone of the G&G, usually the original is higher quality. Check out some reviews.

  • hey anyware i can get this in the uk. and whats it like on reliability. any problems?

  • @punk3rd

I'm sure there's some stores in the UK that sell this rifle, but don't know of any. The blowback feature breaks the piston but your able to disable it. The gun in the video hasn't been used much so I don't know much about the reliability of it.

  • Hey im gna get this gun but i hav a few questions about it...

    1. can u put scopes on it?

2.what is the best type of battery i should get?

  • @PINE304

You can buy the SUSAT, only one or two companies make them though so it might be hard to get. It doesn't accept normal scopes that fit on a picatinny rail.

I'm not completely sure a 9.6v battery would fit in the handguard, but it greatly improves the ROF and trigger response.

  • Is this like the L85A1 spring gun they sell at airsplat? I'm new to airsoft so i wouldnt know.

  • @AntiJonasBroMovent

The only thing similar is that it is modeled after the same gun. This is extremely higher quality, much more detailed, and higher performance than any spring L85.

Most spring airsoft guns are low quality and should be avoided. Most high-quality spring guns (AKA Springers) are usually high-grade sniper rifles and pump action shotguns.

  • OMG CIRCA SURVIVE!!!

    YES

  • hey whats better a amg mp40 or this?

  • How many pounds is this gun?

  • 8 or 9. not fun to lug around at a skirm. make sure you get a sling

  • how is the battery life?

  • I'm not sure, I have only used it once.

  • shitty. get a better battery.

  • it looks very brakeable is it?

because i was considering buying it

  • No, It feels quite durable.. Go for it.

  • 2 days after I got mine, whatever was holding the front sight on broke and the damn thing slid up and down the barrel. fixed it with electrical tape

  • nice toy mate, ever fired a real one?

  • A real steel L85? No.

  • good over view how exactly bad is the baterry because alot of people say it sucks

  • I'm not sure, I haven't used it much, It's really only been used twice.

  • so my question is: have any of you had any experience with an aftermarket piston? (G&G SR-25 or any other 18 toothed pistons?)

would disabling the blowback fix the stripping issue? or is the sector gear the problem in the Army R85?

  • I replaced the piston on this gun with the G&G SR25. I'm not sure if he has used it since the swap. I also turned off the blowback because I have heard that that is the cause of the strip.

  • @KrykoStorm An update, the new G&G Piston broke, a team mate suggested buying a Systema piston.

  • Well if you are good with your hands you can completely remove the EBB which takes all of the stress away, and if you get a 10mm spacer you can use standard pistons. You just have to know what you are doing.

  • Yeah. My friend stripped every single tooth on his piston (dont ask me how, I really dont know, but he did) right out of the box.

he never skirmished it. the day he got it he told me it jammed and wont fire - i thought it was just a simple fix. after opening up the mechbox i find a totally stripped piston.

Im assuming the blowback roller thing on top of the gearbox got stuck and that's not going to stop the gears from turning... the piston is gone.

  • Can you answer two questions for me?

First off, what magazine style does it use? By the video it looks like a Tokyo Marui M4 magazine but I want to be sure before I buy it.

Second off, the moving bolt system, I hear that the bolt system should be kept in the locked position because using the movable bolt while firing has been rumored to damage the gearbox, what are your experiences with it?

    Thanks!

  • 1- It takes Marui capable STANAG magazines. Any high-end STANAG magazines will work.

2- Yes, it would suggest that you turn off the recoil. When I used it the first time it striped a tooth of the piston off and had to replace it (very easy with the split gearbox). I would only use the recoil if I used a very strong piston and had money to buy a new one if that one broke.

  • they take L85 Mags (aka a little thicker m4 mag) so you can use all m4 mags. the blow back will hurt your piston, yes.

  • it does use the m4 clips and the only thing i could image the blowback doing is using up the battery faster

  • well the blow back broke his and many other peoples pistons some how.

And the proper term is magazine, not clip.

  • Fuck you! and don't post in my videos ever again

  • is this gun any good

  • Yeah, It can keep up in battle with CA's and TM's.

  • i love circa survive! im definately getting this gun as my second gun.

  • There coming back to the UK in march, cant wate to get my hands on some!

  • whats the rpm? and roughly how much does it wiegh?

  • Not sure of the rpm but it weighs 7lb 7.5oz without a magazine. And most of that is towards the back because its a bullpup. Which is good cause it lets you use one hand and still hold it comfortably. Like if your really mil sim when your draging a wounded comrade out of a hostile area you can still fire.

  • is it full metal?

  • Yes, Steel I belive.

Very nice quality, the handgaurd is plastic of course and the buttpad is rubber which has a VERY good grip, it grabs your shirt but if you have a vest you should be fine.

  • nice circa survive

  • hey dude can the g&g gear box fit in it if it does im might get one and upgrade it later

also what works better mid caps high caps

or star low caps i already have five lowcaps

  • I would think that the G&G GB would fit, the army is supposed to be a copy of the G&G. Not sure what would be better. I dont't use High-caps, I'm a LC man myself.

  • does it have kick

    ?

  • not really, but it does have a significant amount of vibration more than normal AEGs.

  • Does the blowback affect ROF?

  • Not sure, but the blow back made his piston break. I believe it happens alot, but you can disable it easily. I think a new piston won't break but I turned off the blowback after I put in the new piston just encase.

  • alright cool.

    Great vid 5 stars

  • what is the name of the song??

  • halo is it still broken or did you fix it?

  • still broken, I gotta get and install a new piston...
