This reminds me of something they'd play on the SyFy channel...it doesn't make much sense and it's corny at parts but it's still something to watch for an hour and a half/ two hours. Besides, the only redeemable quality in it is Urban, he is the only stability in the damn thing. Still, I sat through it and I can honestly say it isn't the worse film I have seen, but the scenes and characters just don't match up, things are happening but nothing is explained so it doesn't feel complete to me.
Until Star Treck I really didn't know who Karl was. Than low and be hold I realized I already owed a ton of his movies. Than I looked up several that I didn't know about like The Price of Milk and this one.
Karl is an absolutely AMAZING actor. Good guy ~ bad guy, low budget ~ high budget early on movies or more recent it doesn't matter KARL URBAN still shines. He is an actor among actors. I don't know of another that is more gratifying to watch. And not just because he is SO F***ing Hotter TH

I love Karl Urban, but this is the kind of film you sign up for while you're trying to build your career and then, once you make it big you take it off your IMDB page and hope no one remembers you were in it >.<
I know I'm weird, but around 6:00, that voice and the way he looks at her, and slowly says "It tells ancient stories and sings beautiful songs of love - listen...." well it's the sexiest I've ever seen Karl. honestly. perfect diction. Beautiful peace of acting. He looks at her as though nothing else in the world existed or mattered apart from her. He makes you feel like they're safe now, and happy. so to my mind, heck, it's a happy ending. LOL

He looked so hot in that scene period. I don't know what it was. He just looked hotter than usual. haha
But, I loved the ending. That bitch had it coming.
