I Think us SPriest need another casting spell. We have holy fire and smite for holy or disc. Shadow we just have mind flay and mind blast. Make us more like locks and either give us a fiend that stays alive or another casting spell.

Thats tricky. Trinket + Disperse, Psychic Horror and Silence would all hurt a ret palaidn and keep it from bursting you down. A good shadow priest could do it defending.

around 1700 spell power, that's where it usually shines.

i have a paladin too. but i really enjoy discipline healing.. you won't realize how fun discipline is compared to healing when ur at 80. pennance could get pretty addicting.. i doubt u can stay shadow forever. lol.

i started with a pally and made a priest just for dps.. this was before dual spec, but dual spec makes things interesting.

there's always room for shadow priests in groups.. most of them on my server are disc / holy

priests are a mix between a warlock and a mage.. very fun..

play a priest.. their really fun.. once u play one, u'll get hoooked.

They are fun because priests actually take skill to be successful in any of their class roles: healing, dps, or healing/dps/support. Priests are hard mode, and thats what makes them fun.

why would u go shadow for pvp when u can spec disc and be a bubble priest?? u basically caant die u just use the priest bubble every 15 seconds and if ur low on health u heal urself..... and yes they generally heal in 2v2 type arenas and such but they do some ok dmg also...

disc does significantly less damage.. i was in ur shoes... i played disc to damage and shoot holy damage, but i slowly became and accepted being a healer... for me, disc is healing and shadow is dps.

70% of all pvp priests are disc

30% are shadow pvp
