excellent work ! your performance is too good......i like your project very much ..i am really wondered when i watched this video.. my family members also watched your video..and they praised your project a lot......your effort to do this project was really amazing....and i understand the difficulties in this project ....i need more updates from your project.......thanks for posting this video......
great machine congrats, where do you get the plastic gears from, i gather they have 3mm bore for the shaft and im stuggling to get a 60 tooth gear with a 3mm bore from anywhere. keep up the good work :)
@garyaj072 I bought all my plastic gears from Technobots in the UK. If you google "Technobots UK", you will find them. I got the white "MOD 0.5 Economy" gears. They come in 10 packs and the price is ridiculously cheap, but shipping is not, so it is best to combine them with any other items that you "need". The bore on the stock gears was 2mm. I just drilled them out to obtain the size that I needed.
@miksmi5555 Thanks for the kind words! I have not considered selling these. A marble machine like this is really more of a" challenge to conquer" and a "labour of love" than a way to feed the family. I have built and sold some wooden toys in the past. My personal experience is that I can usually net about $2/hr for my time to build a hand crafted wooden toy. It is just not worth it at this rate. As a result, I now only do woodworking projects for family or friends who appreciate the effort.
Great Work! i also have been inspired by the machines of Denha adn others on the web. i am planning on building a unit myself but am having a little trouble on gettign the balls. i am considering ordering Pachinko balls on eBay (11 mm) since the glass marbles from Dollarama are far from round. i am in Canada also and other than an industrial outlet (too expensive) i have come up empty on sourcing steel balls. any suggestions?
It looks like that catapult is dishing out the balls at too high of a pace, making some of the balls fall past the latches as they are re-centering themselves. I don't necessarily have a good answer to your problem but if you wanted to work more on this that would be a good place to start.
Great little machine - haha you really do have an eye for precision! Excellent and Awesome I agree!

I liked your video. How do connect the metal sections together. Soldering? How do you do that. I'm a total rookie.
mndak76 8 months ago
@mndak76 Yes. The brass wires are soldered. I used a toothpick to apply some plumbing solder paste first.

Nice Nice Nice!!! How long did you have to build it??
MrWapenv 8 months ago
@MrWapenv I spent about 40 hours building it over a period of two months. It took about three iterations to get it working right.

Very nice - only needs a splash of dark stain and gloss to look just like something Denha made.
