@tarjay35 Yup, wiki articles usually contain a bunch of spoilers, and trust me the evangelion page has a lot. So if you don't want to spoil the series, watch it first and then read the articles. It's fun to see if your interpretations matches with others :)
An example would be from End of Evangelion with the battle between Asuka and the mass production units. Even though her battery was cut of, her eva went beserk and went well over the 5 minutes. Her strong will to kill all the mass units kept the unit beserk even when it was being sliced up and torn apart.
@solidgear91 Evas are made by humans based on adam (the shadowy figure in the first impact) however they do not have S2 engine like the angel does. Seeles were able to mass produce evas with s2 engine you will see this in the end of evangelion Asuka vs mass-produced evas thats why they were able to keep fighting eventhough Asuka had already damaged them badly. You're 100% correct. Zeruel in the Old Testament was The angel of power, or God's Arm. Zeruel was also the most powerful angel. So ainax probably refered to that. Also, the God's arm thing is probably why it has the cool paper arms.
I hate it when people decide that they hate all dubs. Yes, some dubs suck but some are quite good and Evangelion is definitely one of them. In my opinion, all of the voices were good except for Rei's and Ritsuko and Shinji's voices were perfect.
