actually it may look like jerking movements, but you do not want to violently move tendons or muscles, they are (were) just very experienced and quick and can put power into there movements..
of course you havent actually tried these movements? the reason they seem indifferent is because they are trying to be unbiased. they are not trying to harness or bring in light energy that is already manifest. where it all comes from before it becomes polarized they call the dark sea of awareness, so they are not tring to put judge it as dark or light apriori, it is just more primal or balanced.

There is nothing one need do (nor can do) physically to speed one along their spiritual path. All is done in the imagination. That is God. He was bigamist who first adopted then married one of his wives (five of the women closest to him wound up committing suicide), his thesis was complete fiction, and he damaged the very culture he claimed to be studying. I was fifteen when I came in contact with Castaneda's work and even then I knew something wasn't kosher. Even his writing style was juvenile and redundant
Read Amy Wallace's book, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. She was one of Castaneda's 'witches' for over 20 years and after his death (a human, liver cancer death...he didn't die a warrior's death) she had the courage to reveal his cult scam.

For me the workshops broth me what they say: well-being and a great amount of energy. It was the greatest illumination of my life. this simple movements to enhance the awareness of energy, and it is also a therapeutic mean. To stalk yourself and the dramas inside is knowing what you are. So nobody can judge the effect unless you follow a workshop. In 2 months. I have lost weight and inches. I am disabled. I am still able to lose weight and am hoping this will ease some of my pain symptoms. I live easier with pain now. I deal better with interpersonal situations by acting with more immpecability than either I or my mother ever would have thought possible. Oh..I am a former construction worker. There is no cult. @Harikrishnalove Unlike any other celebrity, Carlos didn't appear on Letterman and kept his Art in the Writing. Even if you believe his books are Fiction, he is considered one of the greatest Artists of the 20th Century. Toltecs are from Aryan roots. They migrated from the far North to MesoAmerica after Atlantis fell. That is why Quetzalcoatl, Pakal, and Varachoca, were all recorded as White Men with beards. They were the first MesoAmerican designers and mystic/artists.
Get rid of all this nonsense: The plastic flowers and vines on the trellis used as a backdrop for the studio video; the moment of silent meditation; holding hands and wandering around in amazement beholding post-modern architectural follies or something resembling Classical Greek ruins; and seemingly unending scrolling pre-factory statement with redundant voice over reading is all just too much.

I read all of Castaneda's books back in the early 1980's. Very entertaining, but I knew they were a bunch of crap. They is NO "integrity" involved with "Tensegrity". Cultism...

of course you havent actually tried these movements? the reason they seem indifferent is because they are trying to be unbiased. they are not trying to harness or bring in light energy that is already manifest. where it all comes from before it becomes polarized they call the dark sea of awareness, so they are not tring to put judge it as dark or light apriori, it is just more primal or balanced.

There is nothing one need do (nor can do) physically to speed one along their spiritual path. All is done in the imagination. That is God. Your "I AM-ness" God is your own wonderful human imagination. Eat meat, don't eat meat. Smoke, don't smoke. It doesn't matter. All those gyrations although physically stimulating to the practitioner have nothing whatsoever to do with their spirituality because even what they are experiencing is taking place entirely within the imagination of God.

He was bigamist who first adopted then married one of his wives (five of the women closest to him wound up committing suicide), his thesis was complete fiction, and he damaged the very culture he claimed to be studying. Read Amy Wallace's book, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. She was one of Castaneda's 'witches' for over 20 years and after his death (a human, liver cancer death...he didn't die a warrior's death) she had the courage to reveal his cult scam.
Castaneda perpetrated a great deal of harm to legitiment, non-physical/afterlife exploration with his fairy tale.

For me the workshops broth me what they say: well-being and a great amount of energy. It was the greatest illumination of my life. this simple movements to enhance the awareness of energy, and it is also a therapeutic mean. To stalk yourself and the dramas inside is knowing what you are. So nobody can judge the effect unless you follow a workshop. I have news for you: Chacmools are located in Tula hidalgo in central México, as well as yucatan peninsula, to be precise you can see them in Chichen Itza.

In 2 months. I have lost weight and inches. I am disabled. I am still able to lose weight and am hoping this will ease some of my pain symptoms. I live easier with pain now. I deal better with interpersonal situations by acting with more immpecability than either I or my mother ever would have thought possible. Oh..I am a former construction worker. There is no cult. Just some simple movements that will put you more in tune with your universe and the beings that share it with you. tk

Even if you believe his books are Fiction, he is considered one of the greatest Artists of the 20th Century. Toltecs are from Aryan roots. They migrated from the far North to MesoAmerica after Atlantis fell. That is why Quetzalcoatl, Pakal, and Varachoca, were all recorded as White Men with beards. The amount of arguments and insults thrown across youtube comment boards is astounding. It's amazing that there are as many disputes over shows such as BH&E as there are on more mundane, "worldy" channels. Personally I don't have much trust in the factual validity of Castenada's work, but nor do I care to bash others who do. Everyone is entitled to their own perspective, and all of this lashing out amongst ourselves is just a symptom of ignorance. Know that you know nothing. Peace.

I'm currently reading "Journey To Ixtlan" and I'm wondering if don Juan (Matus) is a real man. I'm under the impression that don Juan is merely a figment of Castanada's imagination. So few people have actually met Carlos Castanada I'm wondering how many of these "disciples" have actually met C.C. let alone don Juan Matus. Is there any record of the existence of don Juan Matus having ever existed? I'm thinking this is all going on inside the head of C.C.. Good reading, I love the book so far.

Read Amy Wallace's book, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. She is a renown author and her book about Castaneda is the truth: she was one of his 'witches' for over 20 years. Don Juan Matus never existed.
What Bridgingheaven and others don't want to address is why Castaneda did not die a 'warrior's death'. He died of liver cancer. Some of his harem-witches-sex-partners committed suicide thereafter. Just another good ol' cult.
I am not religious. I just hate snake oil salesmen.

Yes, they committed suicide. The body of the woman who was the infamous Blue Scout was found in a car, out in the desert. She killed herself after Castaneda died. Some of his other witch-sex partners committed suicide as well, and it was planned that way because they all knew Castaneda would never die a 'warrior's death'. They knew a long time ago they wouldn't be able to either. No one can. It's ridiculous.

If you are a 9-11 conspiracy theorist, then that explains why you can't face the truth about a cult leader. Castaneda died of liver cancer. His body was cremated in L.A.. Some of his 'witches' took possession of his cremated remains and carried out their planned suicide pact.
I have out-of-body experiences and practice being in more than one place at a time, plus much more. Everyone can learn these things. When we die we don't cease to exist. It just isn't true. More Castaneda's bafoonery.

tantric yoga, deep meditation, the sufi path or the buddhist hermit dwelling are nothing else but TOOLS to prepare the mind and therefore the body to become ABLE to access a finer realm... it doesn't mean you will access it but it just means you are basically able to 'see or perceive'. The rest as Don Juan would say... depends on your intent (heart) and the powers of the mysterious...

I was duped by Castaneda, as far back as the 70's. Having been interested in the paranormal and through the years wanting and eventually learning about consciousness independant of the body, I began to see what an utter fraud Castaneda was. The ONLY thing he ever *experienced* were the drugs.

One of the most memorable discoveries the De Mille made in his examination of the stack requests was that when Castaneda said he was participating in the traditional peyote ceremony -- the least fantastic episode of drug use -- he was not only sitting in the library, but he was reading someone else's description of their experience of the peyote ceremony.

In the The Power and the Allegory, De Mille compared The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui way of Knowledge with Castenada's library stack requests at the University of California. The stack requests documented that he was sitting in the library when his journal said he was squatting in don Juan's hut.

All warriors go through a time of being very human, with all that entails. They are harshly judged and condemned; but it is not so easy to get Free. It's a lifetime fight through endless battles; sometimes we lose. We all go through this. Public personalities find that when they fall, the public decides that they are fakes.
