well you are in for atleast arond 500dollars, check out your local fish store for the tank price etc. i dont personal own arounas so i dont know much about them but im guessing about a 50 gallon or more is gonna be needed, but my local fish stores dont carry these fish so you sometimes have to order them in. also check out kijiji for locals selling tanks sometimes you can get a good deal! =)I dont know how much this will help but hopefully a little, good luck!

arowanas dont really eat fish in the wild, they are mainly surface feeders eating beetles and fly, some times they jump a few feet from the water to catch prey.
