  • She's beautiful! I'm looking at a Quarter/Arab horse, 7 years old, he hasn't been properly trained but I would like to try to get him into jumping. I know this isn't what your video entails but do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you!

  • Your riding isn't that horrible, just try to hold your hands higher, and straighten your back a little. Maybe you're used to jumping and that's why you're hunching so much? Beautiful horse, though! :) Unfortunately, I live in Europe...

  • good leg!

  • but you're not hunched over you just have your hands in your lap.

  • one thing i can say to you is that you tend to be a little hunched forward and what you can do to solve that is put your hands up a little higher and if you're jumping put your toes on a 45 degree angle. ( I think)

  • shes gorgeous!

oh, and your riding wasn't horrible.

  • Your riding isn't horrible! The only thing is you tend to catch her in the mouth when you jump.

Did you ever sell her? For how much if so?

  • Your a Bit of Nasty aren't you!

  • you ride great! Plus you have a really good seat!

  • your riding is not horrible

  • cute horse :)

  • you have good riding you just need to put your toes more in. it looks like you have them pointed out. they need to be parallel with your horses side. great horse tho=]

  • little mares got alot of go! what are you asking?

  • your riding isn't horrible, don't say that. lol the only things i noticed were that your toes stick out a little and that you have an armchair seat when you canter her. try to keep your ankles underneath your hips. you may be subconciously pinching with your knees, but i can't tell. lovely horse.

  • omg, she looks soo much like the pony i lease, a 14.2hh arab x qh grey gelding, when hes clean anyway, she seems a little stiff though...

  • u call that energetic?? O_O

  • and a lil advice. at 2:40 i noticed your toes are pointing outward, a lot. so if you want something to work on, there ya go. just a lil helpful advice

  • woah. my friend has a horse named sage. and she (sage) is a white arab to. well.. technically grey but yeah. i wonder if its this horse??? email me back on my account and lemme know if you sold her to someone in michigan

  • Thats an arbain? =] looks beautiful i am looking at an Arbian named hope but i dont know if Arabians are easy to jump and since im 5"4 if my feet would be under her stomach since shes only 14.2hh

    What do you think?

Please send me your reply in a message =]

    -Danielle

  • is she still for sale?

    how many hands high?

and how much are you asking for?

  • you deffinently don't have bad riding.

you just look a little stiff.

    but great video.

    amazing horse!

  • location/price/age

  • Now is the time for all of us horse lovers to step up! Thousands of horses are being slaughtered right now in the US for human consumption.Even Racehorses and pregnant mares are killed. USDA studies show over 92% of horses slaughtered are healthy and 3 out of 10 contain unhealthy chemicals.

  • your riding looks ok the pony needs to be pushed forward some and bend more but otherwise she looks good.like the video.5/5

  • her reins aren't too tight. it is called contact, and once that pony learns to move forward into it and round her neck, she'll be a very nice/pretty pony (not that she already is)

    =]

  • wow shes really pretty

  • i have an anglo arab/tb and hes almost never on the bit but hes happy and thats what matters. If a horse is athletic then it doesnt matter. were jumping like 3'6 and moving up

  • Your reins are too tight. Your riding off her mouth. Other than that, shes very pretty and you did good riding!

  • her reins aren't to tight, it's called having contact.

  • aww gorjus horse!! xx

  • Sequidor - Martingales are not "torture devices". A martingale just keeps a horse's head down a bit, un-like draw-reins which can set a horse up improperly.

Great horse and you are a VERY good rider. :)

  • Can everyone please just leave this alone. Silver was my horse and she died in October from cancer.

  • what?

  • Martingales are not torture devices. They're used so that the horse cannot shove its head in the air and go storming off with no control. I ride many horses with a martingale, and none of them are bothered.

  • nice vid, but the first thing i reacted on was that song.. its... Yeah Yeah Yeahs.. ?

  • lol i love arabain horses and part breds... can be calm or have there head in the air. sometimes arabians can be reali highly strung and be a real pain but u rode nicely. pretty horse!

  • oo she acts just like my pony. slow during flat work but theres a huge change when you start jumping lol. They look almost the exact same to lol. Good luck with her

  • Nice work, but let got of her mouth and get her going forward a bit more. Other than that nicely ridden.

  • I have my horse in a martingale now. He is not tortured he is quite happy

  • I suggest not getting a Martingale. A Martingale is a torture device in order to get a horse to have physical flexion, when the don't have the flexion emotionally and mentally. It's a beautiful horse. I suggest going into Parelli, and communicating with the animal instead of using torture devices to force it to do what it wants. It's a beautiful horse, I just suggest NOT getting a martingale.

  • lmao, you're a joke.

  • hahaha omg another parelli freak. theres a parelli lady at my barn and she just walks around with her horse and she insists he "reads her mind" haha meanwhile the rest of us are showing sucessfully. oh and btw we use martingales.

  • i agree with soaringhorse haha. i wouldn't use one if it harmed my horse, i love both my martingale and horse. go do your reseach

  • Arabs arnt expected to get on the bit!

  • ...look at all the Arabians competing in high level dressage...they are on the bit and happy...they may have different bone structure than most horses but they can get on the bit

  • oh and she also is on the wrong leg in cater lol

  • very pretty mare, but you shoudl get her head down! i suggest a training martingale

  • This horse looks just like my old horse..

  • where is she located?

  • She was moved to Maryland (from GA) in July

  • Wow...loosen up on her mouth and encourage her to move out. She is a pretty mare! Are you having any luck selling her? We breed and sell Arab's, the market isn't very good for them right now.

  • beautiful, and you ride beautifully!

  • beautiful mare :)

  • whats your price range?

  • $2500 negotiable - to the right home

  • nice but too short for me, my heels hang off 16 hands

  • The rider (me) is 5ft8. But I know what you mean.

  • She is 15.2 hands and is hunter/ jumper.

  • how tall is she and how high can she go in jumping? You didnt say if she was a hunter/jumper/dressage horse.
