  • Can't belive that they don't have the ding dong sound when it tells u that the doors are opening or closing :\

  • Cool video

  • Ahhh good old DC station I miss it from moving to Az from VA ;( But I'll be taking a Amtrak trip hopefully next May to visit some of my old buddies from high school. :)

  • I've only been on the orange line and blue line when riding the DC Metro but I always get excited whenever I ride it (only because it's not often that I get to).

  • Great Video! As many times as I've been in and through Metro Center, it always amazes me how big that station is. The Red Line has some of the best looking stations in the whole Metrorail system in my opinion.

  • That car you saw with the really bright lights inside is 1 of the test cars using all LED lighting instead of the standard flourescent tubes. Thats going to be standard on their new Kawasaki 7000 series cars coming out in the next few years.

  • @tommyboy6181 Ok thanks for telling me that. I was really wondering why that car was bright.

  • nice shots man. Those 1st two cars in the 1st shot i have seen before

  • @Monisrocks1995 Nice. Yep they run all over the system.

  • @Monisrocks1995 Thank You!

  • Nice , i'm taking the Acela form Newark in late September - October and i'm going to use the Metro. Its the cleanest system in the US and nicest.

  • @Nexis4Jersey Sounds good and thank you! Yes the Washington D.C. Metrorail is a very clean and nice system! When they get the new 7000 series cars soon they are going to replace the older Rohr cars. I like those cars.
