@PureZOOKS not sure but he used to be in the langley ukulele association and i was in it when i was younger and we all used the tuning of: A D F# B ... hope thats helpful...
James Hill pushing the limits of the uke once again. I play Jack Fina's version on the piano and I know what his left hand is going through. I just can't translate it to the uke because the neck of the uke isn't stable enough ( to say nothing of the lack of skill). I've played Jame;s uke; it is SOLID and you can depend on the uke to stay put while your fingers are doing the fret work, Earl Ledden
His CD "Playing Like It Isn't" doesn't have the Thunderstruck part. Next time I meet him, I'm gonna ask him if he could play it and other AC/DC licks.
Amazing... and there's something about the tone of a uke that makes flight of the bumblebee sound so... right... like it was written for the instrument
great musicmaking! looks like they're having fun.. highlight for me is the girl who takes some coffee in the background not caring much for the music.. and with the face of James Hill being really into the music..around 1.40 hehe
Actually, that's exactly why James threw the AC/DC thing in there. To amuse the audience and provide something of a surprise. If you attend one of his workshops you will see that he recommends building little musical surprises into a performance. Not only for the benefit of the audience but so the player also has something to look forward to.
I totally agree with ReallyKevin. Music is about each different artist expressing themselves and their opinion through their music. So it is not a competition.

yes, ultimo101, you're right, I'm sure james hill stuck that riff in the middle so that you could be an asshole, not so people could be amused...
