  • That time/space tube thing makes me think of a cg picture of a blackhole I found. It had like a gray but with random colors mixed in and then of cours there was a circle in the center. The circle was obviously black. Duh... Ok. I'm done typing now... You can stop reading now... What are you blind? No. No your not blind... Your still reading... ... STOP THAT RIGHT NAO!!! ...Buh BYE!!! BUH BYE FOR EVAR!!! STOP READING ME-

  • plz can i

  • can i use this for my figure adventures

  • Better than the TV one!

  • for the logo "Doctor Who" whats the font called???

  • This is really really good. It reminds me of the 8th doctor opening with the vortex.

could I please have a clean version of the vortex? if thats alright with you? its just so amazing and mysterious!

  • This is reli gd!

  • Nice dude wht softwear do you use to do this kind of video

  • More traditional? I misunderstand. Great video regardless.

  • I really need this music, I now it's layerd with the tom baker theme, but the really orchestral doctor who theme thats in here

    what is is it?

  • Very good!

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice vortex

  • Nice tunnel sequence! Did you do the tunnel part?

  • nah, i can't really see david with this...

  • wrong is the 11th doctor

  • It isn't. it is the 10th doctor.

  • It's definately the 10th. Matt Smith is the 11th.

  • nice sequences mate, don't like the tinny theme though, I mean the dum-de-dum has lost its base, needs to be heavier. This is characteristic of the Tennant theme at the mo, listen to early Tennant and back to Eccleston and the base is a lot more traditional. The orchestral trend isn't really my cup of tea but then we've all got tastes eh?

  • I loved the time vortex. It looks like a mixture of vortex effects, but I could be wrong. I hope the BBC, seeing as everything seems to be going retro with series 5, opts for a more traditional title sequence that tips its hat to the classic series titles (but not the 7th Doctor title cos that was shit).

  • cute! ^^

  • Didin't Like the David image, but the TARDIS was beautiful

  • that was slick

  • Love it!

  • wow nice

  • nice one ^^

  • supa dupa!

  • This was really fantastically well done. Wonderful work! It was lovely seeing New Who get the Old School treatment! I always loved this style of opening theme... again, fabulous work!

  • fabulous!! why did they (BBC) ever get rid of the showing-face sequence anyway??

  • this is the best i've seen..very bloody good..SHOWOFF!...lol

  • Amazing job! Too bad YouTube's compression killed the resolution (but I watched it with the &fmt=18 cheat). For some reason this only seems to happen with UK users, maybe it's the PAL format. Anyway, keep up the outstanding work!

  • Nice!

  • this should be on the new series

  • How did you make this, I'm trying to do something like this but with no success.

  • WOW!!!! there is nothing wrong this vid i like it

  • that was awesome!

  • Amazing

Yep send it to the BBC

  • this is FANTASTIC send it to the BBC they might put the face back in hehe

  • Thats like one of the old ones!!LOL! Really good!

  • Can you sed me the blank docor who logo?

  • tennant shoudl wait for longer before fading, otherwise if u blink, ull miss it. also, same with the logo, let it be seen before it fades.

otherwise, this is really good =) what software u use 4 this? btw, 4*s from me.

  • i think you should have the text easing out and the empty peanut spinning and easing in so then the text and peanut squish together in time and add like a glow of some sort

  • I like the Vortex and how you had tennant appea, fade. But your logo effects were terrible. :S

It should spin up like in the actual series.

  • maybe this explains why they dont have him in the opening credits after all :D

  • (excues the language) They really fucked up the new titles

  • Good visual! But why does the music go flat in parts?

  • Its the Children in Need concert version of the S1-3 theme I think. It's a live performance so goes flat

  • whoa

  • what software did u use?

  • Pretty good!

  • I love your logo treatment.... Think it should stay at whee bit longer before it flies into the distance, but it's a brilliant bit of animation. Much better and original than the simple CGI animation they've got officially...

  • When Chris Eccelston was the Doctor, I always thought that it would open with the background of teh logo would full up the screen! AMAZING! Nice one.

    Billy

  • How did you make the votrex

  • logo bit was su[perd, a brilliant bit of work, but the face could stay there longer, couldn't it?

  • Yep the speed he disappears bug the hell out of me. And I hate that big star in the middle which passes too close to the camera on the right. Oh well, too late now!

  • I liked what you did with the logo, but the rest of it was way too slow.

  • this should be on the new series

  • wicked, I'm making a doctor who series in august so keep an eye open

  • It that a Thing everyone's doing or something? XD. Me too.

  • i have made 12 episodes of professor what so far.. fan series are great.. let me know when you make one.. want to check it out!

  • Not enough punch. The present titles are by far the best.

  • I Like this very much!

  • I really like this, shame that the titles probably won't change during Tennant's time, or even under the next Doctor's time unless there is a change of Director of course

  • great vid! the music seems a little flat at times! im guessin its the live concert edit or something! id possibly use a different theme! but great anyway

  • It's a mix I did myself party using the live concert, yes. It also features the original radiophonic sound components in there too.

  • cool! dont get me wrong i like it! just think there r better themes to use

  • Better than the current BBC version! 5 stars! Though it would have been great if the face stayed on just a bit longer.

  • impressive. i also agree that the face should have stayed on a tad longer

  • Wonderful work! How did you do that?? But i think that the 2006 one wins!

  • Cool vid, but I too feel that you should have kept Tennant's face on-screen for a tad longer. But except for that, cool!

  • woooow that's really kl, this is way better than the normal credits! the BBC shud use this =D

  • Even in this rough form it shows much more imagination and ideas than the actual TV one!

  • Is there a downloadable version of this title sequence somewhere? :-?

  • get vdownloader it can download anything on youtube, google video, anything

  • Thanks. I'll have a look into that product. How much does it cost?

  • I've had a look at the product now, but trying to download anything from YouTube doesn't work. Anyway, I wouldn't like to try and steal videos.

  • lol

  • excelent. better than the first one. lol. no, it was good

  • Wow this is amazing, iv just watched all of the old title sequences and i think this is better than the one the BBC actually use ... their one doesnt feel real enough, it just feels like CGI but this gives it dynamic :D

They shud put the Doctors face on it like you have

  • Absolutely brilliant. The only suggestion I have is that David Tennant's face needs to stay on screen a couple of seconds longer, and maybe in color, too, but otherwise, brilliant.

  • David Tennant has been an excellent replacement for last years Dr. It was big shoes to fill, but he's a dynamic actor!

  • Wonderful work, you should send it to the BBC, they need a new title sequence for the 2007 season!

  • awesome! this has a new,new series feel, making titles like this brings the feeling doctor who is all new again, they should have changed the titles for series two, changing the logo for the runaway bride is a bit lame. music is great and that police box is fantasic!

  • the new makers should have this kind of title sequence. as a nod to the classic series. it wud b a lot better

  • I know the new titles by the BBC arent exactly amazing, but how many times can we see a shot looking down a singular time tunnel? At least the new series sequence flies down the tunnel, around twists and turns, and goes back into another.

  • dont like the music? u must be fukin crakers!anyway i didnt mean the song tardiselliot i ment the logo!

  • Pretty cool! Minor nit pick, the "flash" of Tennant's face adds the classic touch, but maybe it should be up a bit longer?

  • ok. cuda done better!!

  • the logo change on the runnaway bride waz of course crap

  • I hope you think my dismantling and rebuilding of the logo is a little more integrated than in the official one. I wasn't impressed how they just slapped it in where the old one had been with a tiny bit of 3D.

  • cool. neat work. come see some of mine. thanks yeah they should change the open video i agree

  • Don't like the music but the title sequence was fab!

  • yeah! i agree with that! i still prefer the classic theme! the baker era! it was that bit deaper! n had some umf! the new version has nothin against it!

  • COOL! Wish this was the title sequence for series 3, it's about time they had a new one.
