i'm giving constructive criticism. i have perfect pitch. you're really good, but at some points, i found that you were a bit off tune. I also felt that you didn't put enough emotion into it, but was just singing for the point of singing. pay attention to the lyrics 'The fourth, the fifth, The minor fall, the major lift'. the tune should be regretful, maybe bittersweet. to improve with your rendition of the song, i suggest you check out k.d. lang's version of it - brilliant, hit it perfectly.

It sounds good but it seems like you put too much of a climax in the first verse. You stated that you didn't sing the rest of the song because all the verses sound the same but if you build up to a pivotal moment in the song rather than belting the main point of each stanza it'll make the song sound not as repetitive. Also when you're belting you don't always have to get so much louder. A lot of the time people do b/c it seems right but in the first verse it might be better to start off quieter.

I've heard other famous singers without any backup, and some things are REALLY ...akward shall we say.

AS for the perfomance, try and dampen the room, the echo kinda piques the eartips a few times. You hit some of the notes accordingly, and even when you go high. Just add abit more practice and you'll have people crying while you sing, Mhm?

What people need to realize is that this girl may not be the greatest singer in the world, but she's just your every day average girl next door. And she's only a teenager. So give her some credit because she's putting herself out there for the world to see. With a little coaching she could be awesome. And she's got guts to go with it. I would work on the facial expressions and hand movements though. People watch very closely to what your face is doing. But good job. Keep it up.
