I remember watching the Eagles on Kyw 3 CBS when they announced this.I was a freshman in high school in New Jersey I thought it was so very shocking.

I remember he would always refer to Jim Gardner as Jimbo, he would say "Back to you Jimbo".

Ohh, Jim was gone all too soon. I remember Jim well. He was funny and personable. Jim was very well liked in the Delaware Valley Area. All the best to his family and friends.
