Wow, great video and lovely trip through the art industry. I am a student studying art and this has opened my eyes to a whole new world of art. My initial research took me to European art and traditional American art. But now I have a whole new genre to study. I had heard about the Harlem Renaissance, but now I am going back to that and start a new research paper on that era and Black art. Thanks! I'll keep you posted.

Hi i came across one of your videos,

and i was wondering if you could help me .

I'm looking for an african american painting,

of a young girl, sitting on a porch or steps of some kind of house,

the scene looks asthough its the old south,

she has a dress on, with fairly large shoes,

black nappy hair with berets.

I seen this painting in a j wright store so i know it must be

somewhere out there.

If you know anything please let me know thanks alot.
