@lalagirl211 That's not to diminish Ellen's impact on Charice's life though. Ellen just happened to be less powerful compared to Oprah, she can't possibly promise Charice anything right? Whereas Oprah can. But Ellen definitely helped give Cha some exposure in the US.

LOL. SHES SO FUNNY!!!! I can clearly see that shes really trying her best in talking maturely.Charice is tooo cute!!! They should make a movie based on her story but also show her True COLORS being silly, funny, and friendly, down to earth, grateful, God fearing, just to name a few...and AMAZING. She really is a gift from God.

GUYS! We have a new diva born in the Philippines, she can sing and belt out perfectly! Check her videos, ANGELINE QUINTO , especially her What Kind Of A Fool I Am and many other songs! She's amazing and a friend of Charice as well, they were once contenders in the same competition. Angeline just recently won Star Power!

She's so freakin cute!!! When she was talking (she couldn't speak that well of English) (at the time of coarse)...then she sings...and it's PERFECT!!! She was way better than Christina Aguilera was at that point (I mean when Christina was that young)...I think even now she is better than Christina, most definitely. ;) This girl is awesome, I want her album now...even if Oprah had the hookups to people...Ellen did it and saw her first. ;) True talent takes you a long way Charice, love you! :D

Wasn't it ABSCBN who placed her at 3rd during the competition because she wasn't "pretty" enough when everyone obviously thought she was better than the winner? Now that she's famous, they're bragging her. I've no respect for a station that thinks like money. Charice is better off without them.

@brimac44 lol, well I believe it's something to do with the way you restrict your throat, they say singing comes from the stomach, well that's where the power comes from, but when it comes to the actual depth of the sound it's all in the throat.
