This is kind of a boring short film. All it really does is show off a simple gimmick and there's not much else too it. I don't really think it's meant to b entertaining, I think its purpose is to show off how awesome the company can combine 2D with 3D, and it's dazzling but they could have put a better plot with it.

Worth buying the Toy Story 3 dvd for-brilliant short! the characters are very Disney/60's hand drawn animation and they blend so well with the modern cgi Pixar is famous for.Great story too. Brilliant!!!!

1st - Pixar is a part of Disney.

2nd - This is perhaps the best animated short I've seen. It had a great message, and it was comical. I suppose it fits. The best animated short debuted at the beginning of the most successful animated film of all time.

This film is good, that I started to fight with my brother, because I wanted to see this again and again..online watching is great..( visit freecartoonsus ). This is touching romance with many of good action and strong plot!! If you have founded yourself in this short video, you must watch this whole! It is fantastic!!

The care taken in the animation was outstanding, as always, but I seriously think the overall "story" of it (if there even was one..) could've been writen better. =/

The visual effects (fortunately) were entertaining enough to make us watch it completely, but I didn't find the characters' personality -and aspect- very appealing. ...Felt empty to me. Oh well, they tried something and I am glad they did! :) But really, to me, the quality of the animation is what really made it great.

It's me or theres somenthing "subliminal" on this short? You can se the character movement, the lady's reaction and also you can hear a "sexually humming sound" from somewhere... There's no surprise cause Pixar is owned by Disney. If you type subliminal messages on youtube you can see how many Disney films appears, judge yourself. Anyway the animation looks awsome specially on 3d! You only have to be observer.

@joseruben777 yes there is, its nt jus u lol firstly its weird dt dis cartoon is pt in2 toy story 3 when there is no link, secondly they r trying to implement hidden messages in our minds, how? jay z is an illuminati he had a painting where he was interviewed he stated that it was his favourite becoz it showed 2 worlds merging in2 1. meaning satans and our world which was surprisingly cald 'day and night'. thirdly there is a new movie out with cameron diaz and tom cruise called 'knight n day'

it's so short because this is only a 17 second CLIP from the actual Pixar short film "Day and Night" that appears directly before "Toy Story 3". it's brand spanking new, so the full "short" is not yet available for viewing online in it's entirety :) go see it in theaters, it's incredible :)

This is no doubt, Pixar's best short. It's simple and humorous, yet the message behind it all runs so deep, you can't help but applaud or nod your head in agreement. It's better left seen than described. ^^

Couldn't have said it better. It is by far the best short they have made to date. It made Toy Story 3 (which was amazing) even better. When this short came on from beginning to end I couldn't stop smiling. The whole IMAX theater was in applaud.

It resembles how different everybody is and how we can get along, and I think it's great. For sure the most deep short.
