Is there a possibility that her "friends" r just generally blunt real people (Such as myself) and when shes vulnerable she takes what they are saying as attacks, and when shes high confident she just doesnt take it as an attack on her nemore. I know I get in a lot of trouble because ppl don't like blunt now a days, even though I feel its the most effective way to convey a massage. And I will have to disagree Momo, some people really do respect those who scare others, but ur right in most cases

Hey CR We all have the choice to choose our way to express ourselves to others but thats really about timing and situation.Its ok to be blunt but if you cant also be sensitive and pay attention to the details which should clearly explain the best approach to the situation Then with all due respect you may die alone and miserable. Now thats blunt but also my opinion from years of experience. There has to be basic guidelines .Its all about efficient time 2 me, we will never have enough anyways.

Of course there is times to do act certain ways, I was speaking about bluntness in general, day-to-day things, and what I took from that letter is sometimes she's just down on herself, but not really low, she's acting normal and passive, so when she's high or low she appears to take the comments, ect the same way. I am 100% in favour of ur suggestion of confrontation, I bet her friends don't even know that they are bothering her most of the time, and how should they know if she doesnt show it.
