  • AMAZING!

  • Yeah!! This singer is the best!!!!!

  • I could dance to this song all night long.

  • Fico embreagada com a voz...!!!

  • Don't know why I tend to associate this song with Bowie's "Loving The Alien." Something about the two songs sounds that makes me think they would blend well. Hell, maybe I just heard the combo somewhere and have become accustomed to it. Either way, I love both songs so it's a win-win to me.

  • Dave has some great 80's gems, I love his labyrinth songs too!

  • @PifflesTheMonkey the music video for underground was pretty amazing, almost as good as his music lol. Labyrinth=best movie ever

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS. ahhhhh

  • I like this single version - I couldn't listen to the extended version - totally different.

Songs I like off this album

    Zeroes! ( like it alot)

    Glass Spider

    Day in Day Out

    Too Dizzy

    Shining Star

When The Wind Blows appears on it too

Also Girls and Julie came as extras I think and they're both good!

  • all day long, all night long

  • is that Eric Roberts as the announcer?

  • Sensualidad+Baile+Duke= Hit

  • I laav him :D

  • Very nice song and video. I wonder who the little girl is though.

  • You imbeciles stop complaining............

A creative mind that inspired future generations..That was and still is Mr D.Bowie....

  • Wow.... You've never let me down, David!

  • you know, people say that there was some good song writing on Never Let Me Down (album) but bad production. Exactly what the hell does that mean? I don't quite hear what they're talking about. Some one please reply with an explanation.

  • @retroEddz well production is about knowing what finishing touches to implement. u could go as far as to change a whole song tho. but the song writing is the opposite its the beginning process of song creation! bad writing is ok if the band is really good.

  • @retroEddz - "production" refers to the choices made regarding what instruments are used, how instruments sound, how they are 'mixed' together, etc. The writing just refers to the chords/melody/lyrics/rhythm of the song itself. Regarding the "production" of this record, some people may find that certain elements on this record, like the drum sounds and synth sounds for instance, were less than remarkable, especially as Bowie's records were often sonically on the groundbreaking side of things.

  • @retroEddz The words were good but the music sucked.

  • is there an instrument this guy cant play? been into him since 83 (modern love) but wasnt allowed to see the serious moonlight concert! however the first gig i did go to was Glass spider!!! ahhh the memories...

  • greatest pop singer of all time? yes.

  • He did too many genres to label him as best of just one.

  • @PopGirl1981 doesn't this remind you of Thursdays child I think he skip back to his roots

  • @PopGirl1981 not only pop music!! every genre

  • Too many good songs!!!

  • there is nothing i love more than watching that man dance. Sigh.

  • What a genius this fucking DB !

  • Love Joe Dallesdandro, introducing the marathon. What a hottie, back in the days of Andy Warhol.

  • I'l bedamned, that isDallesandro !! Blood For Dracula, Flesh For Frankenstien and Trash are three of my favorite movies, so I'm familiar ith the guy. He still looks pretty good her too.

  • This has always been one of my favorites by him. Just a great great song.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah...I like the title track a lot too.

  • This is quite a good song. Surprising...

  • Depeche Mode's song name is Never let me down again, and has nothing in common with this great song, except the 4 first words. That song is available in Music for the Masses 1987 album and 101 live album 1988...and is the last song in their concerts always ( in a 99%).

  • this is one of the best songs he ever done just so cool

  • sweet serenade!!! i luv it!!!! luv bowie!!!

  • does depeche mode do a cover of this song? maybe its just similar song titles lol ;0) looooove this song ;0)

  • No, completely unrelated song. It's actually good too.

  • I just love this song. It's got a good beat, great lyrics and it's a truly beautiful song. (He's really cute in the video too)

  • and i listened to this song over and over again.

  • his music is amazing,he was sucha creative man

and he was soooo charming too:X

  • Yep he IS very creative :D

  • well,i ment he was creative because i thought he stopped singing or such..at least i ahven't heard anything new from him:(

how i wish i could have lived during the 70-80<3

  • no, nothing since Reality, I heard he had to take things easy after a mild heart attack. Can't blame him if he's quiet for health reasons. He's still the best though!

  • Yes,that is soo true:)

He is sucha unique person,i loved everything he did,movies,music...and his costumes<3

ahaha,i would buy some of them:p

  • seriously he has to do another tour, please say yes

  • Oh that would be wonderful, but so far not a word about anything from him

  • i just love this its so cute ,his vocals are just great its catchy should have been a single

  • oh my goddd, the way he swings his hips at 2:06 is amazingly sexy hahaha.

  • Apparently the intro voice-over is Mickey Rourke! Don't think that's him in the video, though...

  • its Joe Dallesandro on screen and its his own voice, not Mickey Rourke's. sounds a bit like Rourke tho lol

  • What's the deal with this album, then? According to wiki, Mickey Rourke's supposed to be on there somewhere.

  • Rourke appears on another song, Shining Star, he does a kinda spoken interlude /rap. Sounds fine.

  • What's the deal with this album, then? According to wiki, Mickey Rourke's supposed to be on there somewhere.

  • His voice was good, but that song was definitely his weakest I've heard in the last 2 days...(just found him and decided his worst album could not be bad.)

That song was pointless(videos are crutches).

  • This was our first dance at our wedding! We wanted something fun, different and expressive. Who else but Bowie?! We danced our little dance til it made us smile.. LOL

  • david is the only white duke,no one else is like him :God bless the DUKE!

  • That was so refreshing. Silly and clever.

  • To: the Sweetest girl who ever had the courage to love me.

From: The man who waited too long...

  • David Bowie... The master himself

    Good intro:

    Beautiful boys, bad girls !!!!!

  • I saw Bowie perform this at the old Tampa Stadium (the "Big Sombrero," before the Glaizers tore it down & build Ray J stadium.) It was the Glass Spider Tour. I was so far away I could only see him on the vid screens to the side of the stage. Everyone would stand up and dance far anything post-Blue Jean, but then sit down to anything earlier. I loved his 70s stuff, too, so I remained standing. An 80s big-haired girl tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to sit down during Heroes. I was pissed.

  • I would never let David down!!!

  • inappropriately? are you for real?what are you some bible thumper? gahd. This song rocks. It's about one true woman you can turn to who always loves you and who shall NEVER LET YOU DOWN.

  • The setting of the video is at a "marathon dance" which was popular in the 30's during the Great Depression. Ppl would dance for hours on end, and the last couple standing was declared the winner, and received a cash prize. The 1969 film "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?", directed by Sidney Pollack and starring Jane Fonda and Michael Sarrazin, examines this cruel and brutal craze of the past. The dancers in this video are acting as if they are exhausted from hours of marathon dancing.

  • I don't really like the video all that much, except for the parts that show David singing because a lot of the people are dancing inappropriately, but I love the song. I wish I could play the harmonica. ^_^

  • I love the zoot suit he wears in this video.

  • Well it sounds in fact great !! and Joe Dallesandro (Andy Warhol Superstar)is the anouncer in the beginning !!

  • Great song from a pretty bad album.

  • I have this song on repeat on my iPod at the minute

Bowie's voice is soo relaxing on this song, i love it, its beautiful :)

    bowie forever
