I can't hit rolls like the one at 3:20. I can do the one at 3:06 because it doesn't jump across 2 pads. For some reason I'm never able to hit rolls that go from red to blue or yellow to green.

All you can do to overcome that problem is practice.

A good way to practice is playing a GH game with RB drums.

Almost every single roll across the toms goes from red to blue, simply because theres no yellow tom on GH.
