Unless this guy renders the kick instead or recording it out of his loudspeakers i can't judge how 'professional' it sounds, but anyone looking to make a truly professional Gabber kick you should look at using the Fruity Squeeze with its squariser and peak filter (don't use the knobs on the lower left side) and the Fruity Waveshaper. Just experiment and you'll likely find yourself using the overdrive and EQ too.

I've been making Gabber since late 2008 - it takes time to get good at making kicks.

Sounds like you have the pitch on the piano roll too high, try dropping down to C3 or something, if that's not it then shorten the "bar thingy" on the piano roll. If that's not it give me more details and then I'll try to help.

this is very giid vid, good explain etc... good Hardcore bass. all the ppl who dislike this its just coz they cant do it better or it wont work, well the first time (when i was noob) i copie'ed this vid, but it doesnt work that good, well i did it again some weaks after when i become better, and it works fine, anyway nice vid and keep it going Hardcore 4 Life!

There are other programs to make a professional hardcore/gabber kick. For example theres logic pro,reason, cubase. You can get the Pro-35 i think it is to make a good melody aswell. personally I like fl studios and pro-35.

dude you make hip-hop.how do you know about how to make a gabber/hardcore kick?.also saying your better then somone cause of a certain program is just being irrogent and ignorant.there are tons of professional djs that use fl studio such as laidback luke and headhunters,ect. it all comes down to personal prefence really.you can have the top of the line equipment and still sound like complete shit. it takes more to it then a simple software. it all depends on skill level and style. not software
