  • Somebody has a bit of a grudge methinks. How can you not admire Mikey's talent. Rock on Mickey Llewellyn

  • Great video. Micky rules

  • @wpsconsult

Yeah, the lying thief fat slob stole from the club he worked at for 16 years-that shit hole to end all shit holes (aside from the Waterhole which is about the same) Bourbon Street...it's a shit hole. He's at the 'Hole now, where they keep him on a short leash.

  • Search youtube for "micky llewellyn thief" and see him rob the bartender at this club!

  • @afartisafive Actually wasn't it Bourbon St that this bloated douche bag stole a wallet at?

  • Hustler were shit, this guy is shit and his tone is shit.

Plus hes a fucking petty thief.

All in all Micky Llewellyn is a fucking loser. Want proof?

  • Micky you are still That Great Guitarist I watched Many times with HUSTLER, Tigger Lyons and I had a Band here in Los Angeles in the 80's that was a great Time, nearly as Good when we had that big Jam at the Pub you had back in the 70's

    You are Awesome mate, always,

    Rock on Brother

    Paul.

  • On the live tape I have, Mickey starts "Jack The Lad" on guitar, playing the "Sailor's Hornpipe" as an intro. Halfway through the solo he hits a bum note. You then hear Mickey laughing and saying "Really f***** that up didn't I". Great days!

  • @stratoman2004

Is there any possibility of sharing that tape with the rest of us?

  • @FightTheElite Good question, I don't know if I legally can or not. If one of the band wanted a copy then I could send it on to them and then they could distribute it at their discretion. The tape quality ain't great but it's enough to suggest they were better live than in the studio. I don't think the albums do them justice.

  • @stratoman2004

I see your point. When I asked I meant is it physically possible... but you're quite right to think of the legal implications aswell.

  • An old roadie mate of mine known as 'Blob' introduced me to Hustler back in early '74. Used to see the band down at the Marquee regularly before my own band TUSH took off. After one of our guitarists left we had Mickey come down to audition for the spot. It never went further than that sadly but it was fun while it lasted. I've still got a live tape of Hustler at the Marquee, taken from the sound desk I think, extremely rocking...especially the opener "Jack The Lad".

  • Is this the lead guitarist from the 1970s UK pub rock band, Hustler? They were brilliant!

  • @Themell0w

I'm sure you know by now but yes. saw them at leeds uni in the mid 70s - maybe supporting Focus or King Crimson (thinking of bands I'd have seen back then). Maybe someone can put me right on where and when. They were a good live band.

  • @snaithb

1st March 1974, Leeds Uni supporting Curved Air !

  • @kennykeyboards

Ah yeah - that's the one. Back Street Luv. You were more entertaining. Cheers Kenny.
