  • Is not the same guy who was the caller with pepe kalle for a long time. I dig this guy. If he's the one , you should check out the video of him and Pepe doing a concert in Zambia. He just jumped over fences and barriers to get nearer to the audience that was , stupidly, put 3 football fields away from the stage....the freakin' Zambian police didn't know what to make of this guy...they were totally baffled. And He loved being with the folks and had no fear dancing n and out of the crowds.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO .. SHOUT OUT TO DJUNA

  • congo toujour power

  • Watch the video and Stfu ppl. I really think many of the people who leave comments on YouTube have no lives. Go out and make a difference some where. Love everyone !!!!

  • mamayééé djouna yondééé

  • Keep your social debate where there iare social matters or at least spread it in all afro related clips, including the american ones where stars become clearer and clearer, instead of using this opportunity to hijack a foreign music for your own social concerns. There are sites for those matters. Let people enjoy music.

  • @Axine4 sorry pal. I was under the impression that african music was one big social debate as opposed to the PR driven crap that the developed world seems to give primacy. Besides, listen to the music and dont scroll the text if it bothers you that much. Free forum and all that. :)

  • @vdotme

No music is for music afficionados. If it was for social debates bleaching wouldn't be the only social problem talked in vid and besides the debate would have gone further as why do black men loves whiter girls to begin with leading ladies to bleach to appeal. so again no need to hijack music vids to talk bout his specific social problem ignoring orthers in the process. It just highlights that it's not about social problems more about rehasing the same point hijacking music to do so.

  • @Axine4 so why r u getting involved in a social debate. I replied 2 a point (a stupid one at that) made by someone a long time ago and people have exercised their right to agree or disagree on a public forum using their computer in their time. how do you feel you have the right to control the viewing habits of others. Skip the comments and concentrate on the vids if "social debate" bothers you that much. You tube terms and conditions have not been violated, just your personal sensitivities.

  • @Axine4 Now your just talking nonsense. No one said bleaching is the only social problem. As 4 black men liking whiter ladies i made a statement about self worth issues etc. By the way I am a black man as are many of my friends and family and we prefer black women in all their varieties. I never hijacked any vid, i just responded to a comment. The specificity was not of my choosing. Have you read the full context of the debate you so imperiously proselytise on. I think not. Afficionado my ass

  • @Axine4 Oh 1 more thing. Name me one artist who said he/she wanted only aficionados to listen to, enjoy or comment on their music. Name just one and I'll give you five bigger more credible artists who had a social point to make, hoping it would affect the listeners and spark debate in their communities and eventually lead to positive change. Who declared you an aficionado anyway. I'm guessing your ego did. Me thinks one regards way too highly of oneself. Name me just one artist Axine.

  • @Axine4 still struggling to name one? I'll assume you get the point until you do. God bless.

  • Every time there is a video about africans, there is always some people coming speaking about bleaching instead of music installing a social debate. You don't see that in carabean videos, in afro americans videos. They don't sepak as much about skintone or even weight which is prevalent there too. It's like a total disrespect about african clips hijacking them for a debate and also the untold codification they have about africans who should be starck dark to fit their own perception.

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS THE LIGHTING AND MORE TO THAT THE RED LIGHT! THAT IS WHY THEY LOOK WHITE AS YOU SAY! PLEASE FIX YOUR EYES ON THEIR BUTTS AND BEAUTY! THESE GIRLS ALSO LOOK INTELLIGENT TO ME!!

    BULASIO na BUGANDA

  • tres fort

  • Djouna oza somo trop.. donc veut dire yo oza danze.... Bravo...

  • I disagree with anyone wo is talking abt this gals bleaching themselves.I knw them&its their natural skin.I have actually done a dissertation on those toxic creams that you call bleaching creams. When yu use those toxic creams.Their apparent gud effect only last a few months. After that in most cases you will start to see blotchy marks appearing all over your bad especially if you are dark skinned. The reason is coz those toxic creams contains hydroqunine wich affects skin pigmentation.

  • I dont think they were referring to these girls on the bleach subject, but you are definitely right, a lot of people spitting out their opinions dont have proper information on the subject.

  • @vdotme

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS THE LIGHTING AND MORE TO THAT THE RED LIGHT! THAT IS WHY THEY LOOK WHITE AS YOU SAY! PLEASE FIX YOUR EYES ON THEIR BUTTS AND BEAUTY! THESE GIRLS ALSO LOOK INTELLIGENT TO ME!!

    BULASIO na BUGANDA

  • @BULASIO i do not remember saying that they look white and the butts and beauty have been closely noted several times. you probably caught the tail end of the whole bleach discussion. Look back and you will see where the nonsense is. PS what does intelligent look like?

  • @vdotme

BROTHER VDOT IT IS ALRIGHT AS CURT MAYFIELD WOULD SAY! THERE ARE NO QUARELS-IN LUGANDA WE SAY -"TEWALI AYOMBA SSERUGANDA!!" OR IF YOU PREFER IN LINGALA IT IS-"NGOMBO EZALI TE BANDEKO(BROTHER!)" SO LET THERE BE PEACE & YOU ENJOY WATCHING THE BUTTS OF OUR GIRLS HEREIN!

    BULASIO na BUGANDA

  • @BULASIO Mr Mayfield's philosophy is a good one to live by. Blessed be the butts:)!

  • So many African women bleach these days, that even the few naturally fair skinned are assumed bleached as well. I agree and disagree with you...i cannot speak for these women in the video because I have not seen them in real life to diagnose..but skin bleaching effects each individual differently...the blotchy marks can appear on darker skinned people or people who were original mid-tone as well.

  • I love it!

  • Please, can you talk about the music, and not only about the bodies of the girls. Or is this the only you want? It tells as a lot about your.

  • I totally agree with you chriswete. We should base our comments on the music, dance styles of each idividual in the video and their sexy moves as well as the rythm or beats.

  • or those who do not know...Most Congolese people are stupid and fake. They think bleaching themselves is cool/fashion. Every Congolese star starting from Koffi to lesser known ones are bleaching themselves and the chemicals they use really smell nasty, that's why I stopped dating their women.

  • how dare you take an entire nation and throw it in one rotten basket. some of your people (whatever they are) also have do embarrasing stuff and i dont think you will want to be associated with them. Like people for their individuality and not what the rest of their people do. this is why we all have different finger prints- so we can be judged individually and not like you just did. any way this was 7 months ago, i hope you have matured since then

  • Are you Congolese?!? I am just wondering... i have them my ancestral line but hardly claim it..

  • zo'n beire x

  • djouna shoulda gone solo long time ago. the stuff with pepe kalle was good but he was underrated and never really let to shine. Respect to Pepe though, RIP

  • wow my favorite!!!

  • the girl on the left side of the screen is so natural with her moves. she the only girl really dancin. the other girls are crap. i wish i could move like her.

  • The girl on the right, what's her name. Anyone know her?

  • Thats a bit harsh. the one at the back aint bad. Its just the one on the right looking like she trying to remember the moves as she goes along.

  • Its all about having fun man.

  • This guy is HOOOOTTTTT!!!!!!

  • could some one please tell me name of da song thanks ..

  • ce nest pas le grand PAPY TEX animateur de feu MAITRE PEPE KALLE .signe GUYBAGO DU CAMEROUN A YAOUNDE

  • c vraiç en plus sa voix ressemble a celle de Bill C linton

  • u full of shyt, cause all in New York nuff africans bleach... so stop the african AMERICAN crap.... it effects every aspect of OUR society in all econmic levels.... any inferiority we have stemed from somewhere from classism to superiority....*kissteeth*

  • Does anyone think that Bill Clinton's voice is similar to that of Mumbafu??

  • Misinformed have once again failed to understand that there is a common self hate thread that unfortuately runs amongst ALL African and African-Heritage cultures that have been heavily influenced by so-called European colonization. Hence the problem is not only african american....Research the preference for clear skinned or 'the brownings'(lighter skinned) on such islands as Jamaica...the use and overuse of dangerous skin lightening products in certain parts of Africa. Do a bit more reading!!

  • you're very right. Mbilia Bell has bleached herself and a blonde wig, not to mention michael jackson who's a complete disgrace

  • Serious color caste problem here... ANYONE check out how the lighter complected female dancers are located in the front of the stage while the darker complected female dancer is buried in the back behind Mumbafu's dancing.. THis is not the first time I have noticed this type of thing in African videos...And yes..Mumbafu skin color is not natural either...Just trying to keep it real..But regardless of this,Mumbafu is a superb artist...

  • They put the two matching ones in the front of the line. Not enough space for all 4 in the camera. at once. One time the Rockets at Rockefeller Center all matched too. Some of the girls in Africa are mixed with European blood and are lighter. Some in South Africa are naturally lighter. If I went to certain parts of Africa let us say West Africa my own children would not recognize me. No worries we all turn to dust in the end.

  • Look at some of his old videos with Papa Kalle. His color is lighter back then. If you live outside of the country for many years OUT OF THE SUN you tone will change. Babe we all turn to dust whatever color we are. He has reinvented himself over the years. Kudos

  • I hear you. I wish African folks (N.B. no artificial subgenuses, I mean all Africans) could talk about this in the manner that white folks talk about tanning. Sun tanning is far more dangerous than bleaching chemicals but they can have a conversation about it. Africans tend to get defensive, then its Congolese this, African Americans that. It still is what it is, color casting leading to self worth issues leading to self mutilation. If we cant keep it real in our own videos were screwed.

  • @vdotme Its all about competition and economic scares please but we all love our kind and gooood life with buety.

  • @stephenkimalyo dont know what you mean by "competition and economic scares" but agree with you on loving our kind and gooood life with beauty. ( gooood life and beauty is what is in our DNA despite all the war and ugliness inspired by others and paraded in the press. I wish you and yours GOOOOOOD LIFE WITH BEAUTY! )

  • these girl didn't bleach. Stop hatin plz!!

  • i love it!

  • I love it! Anyone know the name of this song?

  • it is called 6600 volts.

  • Trying to find an audio file for this song. Happen to know where I can find or purchase one?

  • Djouna Mumbafu can dance like hell. Any chance i can get the clips he was doin wit the late Pepe Kalle ? ? I love this guys dancin.

  • Superb stuff, great stage presence for sure!!!

  • nice song..even though i cant understand a word! He's about to bust outta that suit dancing...lol! great job :0)

  • I love it!!!!

  • love it

  • Djouna Is a great performer and is very underrated as a dancer I like the way he incorporates some of his old moves with the new truly a great dancer, he is very captivating and I see now that as a soloist he still has a few members of the old crew like the two midgets with him, I wonder is lofombo is still the lead guitarist.

  • great choreagraphy

  • Ida: Fabulous. Who is playing lead guitar? - Scott

  • As a child I used to see him perform for Pépé Kallé they used to call themselves Empire Bakuba search Djouna Mumbafu & Delta force. The beats seems a remix of something I can't remember even Kanda Bongoman used.
